50 Cent recently spoke to Hollywood Reporter and shaded Jay-Z and Beyonce, by stating how the Grammy voters are often visiting their house. When asked by the publication if 50 Cent votes at the Grammys, he stated how it is “crazy,” and the voters are often at Jay-Z and Beyonce’s house.

Referencing how the iconic singer has over 30 Grammys, 50 Cent said,

“No. I don’t know who’s voting in that sh*t. It’s crazy. Whoever they are, they’re off at Beyoncé’s house because she has 30 of them.”

However, as soon as the thoughts poured in by 50 Cent in the interview about Beyonce and Jay-Z went viral, social media users began reacting. As an Instagram account @TheNeighbourhoodTalk posted about the same on Instagram, one netizen commented, and said,

“If she paid for the awards, you would think she would pay for AOTY? Lol”

Others also mocked the rapper’s comments on Beyonce receiving dozens of Grammys, as they said,

It is worth noting Beyonce has received over 32 Grammy Awards in various categories, along with 88 nominations for her music. Beyonce is the artist who has won the maximum number of Grammys to date. The singer has won awards for her popular songs like Halo, Single Ladies, At Last, Deja Vu, Ring the Alarm, B’Day, Savage, Black Is King, Renaissance, Be Alive, and many others.

“I don’t care about them. They don’t mean anything”: 50 Cent speaks about the Grammys

50 Cent surprised many fans when he claimed Beyonce and Jay-Z took home the Grammys because the voters were partial to the two. He also shared his thoughts about the Grammys, and stated that he does not “care about them,” as “they do not mean anything.”

“I don’t care about them. They don’t mean anything. It’s an acknowledgement of the success of the project, and the excitement is to be in the room with your peers. Other than that, what is the acknowledgement? It doesn’t mean anything. I haven’t even seen anyone in a bad financial space where they would sell their Grammys. Then it would mean something that you received this award. It has zero value.”

During the interview, 50 Cent also spoke about Jay-Z’s company, Roc Nation, and stated how they did not want him to perform at the Super Bowl Halftime Show in 2022. The rapper stated he ended up being on the show as Eminem “wouldn’t do it without him.” As the publication asked why 50 Cent’s name was not on the list of the initial lineup, the rapper said,

“They wanted to leave me out of it. They didn’t want me there. Roc Nation. Yeah, they didn’t want me there. Eminem wouldn’t do it without me. That’s how I ended up on the show because he was not coming if I didn’t do it.”

He continued,

“When that happens, you go, Damn, so you just lost Eminem because you didn’t bring 50? Damn. All right. Bring 50 then. But if it was up to them, they would not have me there. I’m the surprise. I’m not on the bill at all. But they couldn’t get Em to do it without me.”

During the interview, he also spoke about the ongoing rap war between Kendrick Lamar and Drake. He touched on the topic of his feud with Diddy, and how he has never talked to Ja Rule after they feuded with one another decades back.
