On Monday, December 16, American singer SZA shared a teaser of her upcoming music video, featuring actor Ben Stiller. The teaser is related to her upcoming project titled Lana, which is set to be dropped on December 20, 2024. For those unaware, Lana is basically the deluxe reissue of studio album SOS, which was released in 2021.
In the recently released teaser for the upcoming single Drive, Ben Stiller could be seen singing, what seemed to be the new track Drive and driving through a rainy night.

As reported by Billboard, the singer has been working on the upcoming project for more than two years now. While it is not a deluxe reissue, the Power is Power singer had previously cited it as an album.
SZA had previously revealed that she would restart working on Lana, after songs from the project were leaked
Fans had been waiting for this upcoming project for quite some time now. Earlier this year in March, the singer called out people who apparently leaked music from the project. She shared a now-deleted tweet, as reported by Variety, where she wrote:
"Y’all leaked three songs from the deluxe. At this point, y’all can keep the throwaways and leaks. I’ll be starting ‘Lana’ from scratch."
The singer further stated that the deluxe reissue "deserved" sufficient time before its release.
The first time that SZA announced the upcoming project was in August 2023, during a concert in Brooklyn. As for SOS, it had been an extremely popular project involving the singer-songwriter. The album topped the Billboard 200 Albums Chart, during its debut.
Last year in August, as reported by Variety, SZA revealed that Lana would consist of outtakes from the studio album SOS. Next month, during the Brooklyn concert, she performed three tracks from the upcoming project. She then said:
"The deluxe is a whole ’nother album, it’s seven to 10 songs and it’ll be out this fall."
