Kanye West's ex-assistant Lauren Pisciotta recently amended her lawsuit against the rapper on October 8, 2024, alleging Ye drugged her s*xually assaulted and drugged her. Ye's lawsuit was discussed during Dame Dash's appearance on America Nu Network published on October 21, 2024, and the record executive commented on the same stating:
“So no matter what Kanye is my brother. I'm going to always hope that which said is not true. If it is true, then, you know, I feel bad that the girl had to go through that."
Dame also reflected on the 2019 case against him by Monique Bunn claiming Dame Dash had inappropriately touched her while she was sleeping at his house during a video project. Dame mentioned:
“But as a person that's been accused of sexual assault and went through a whole trial and got the press of the accusation, but didn't get the press of when I won the case knowing it was bullshit, you know, I would ask questions.”
In February 2023, a federal jury found after a four-day trial that Dame Dash wasn't liable for the s*xual assault, as claimed in Monique Bunn's lawsuit.
"So I would wanna understand why that happened"- Dame Dash comments on Lauren Pisciotta's lawsuit against Kanye West
According to Livemint dated October 13, 2024, in the 88-page lawsuit filed by Kanye West's ex-assistant Lauren Pisciotta, she claimed that the incident took place at a recording session co-hosted by Diddy. Lauren was Kanye's assistant from 2021 to 2022 and mentioned in her lawsuit that guests were instructed that they had to drink the beverages served at the studio gathering or they'd be asked to leave.
Ye's ex-assistant mentioned that the drinks were poured at the rapper's direction and Lauren hasn't accused Diddy of any wrongdoing in her suit. The amended lawsuit alleged that Kanye West "drugged and r*ped" Lauren and she also mentioned feeling a highly impaired and altered state sometime after consuming a drink served at the studio session. She claimed that she woke up "physically ill and confused" the next day.
Commenting on Lauren Pisciotta's allegations against Ye, Dame Dash mentioned during his appearance on the American Nu Network:
“Something happened that she was uncomfortable with and then she went to work with him. So I would wanna understand why that happened, you know?”
Dame also said that there are going to be lawsuits every day and one has to "filter through the bulls*it ones" and see which ones will hold up in court. Talking about how he is usually in court for complaints about defamation, Dame Dash mentioned that it is important to know the rules of what can be said and what can't be said especially if one is going to be on TV or in the public eye.
Moreover, Dame Dash's respect for Kanye West has been evident since his appearance on Bootleg Kev’s podcast in December 2021 wherein he called Kanye "the only one on a real level" who gave him a certain kind of respect.
Lauren Pisciotta's latest lawsuit is an amendment to the one she filed against the rapper in June 2024 for wrongful termination, breach of contract, s*xual harassment, and hostile work environment. Her original lawsuit claimed that she was fired in October 2022 and mentioned that she wasn't paid her $3 million severance offer.
