Noahfinnce, pronounced similarly to 'no offense,' released his debut studio album, Growing Up On The Internet, on March 8, 2024, through Hopeless Records. The album was his first new release since 2022's EP My Brain After Therapy.
The singer elaborated on the album in his announcement post via Instagram on November 23, 2023. He revealed that the album is about his own growth throughout his childhood:
Growing up, I never had the confidence to be myself and frankly I was embarrassed just to exist. Until I found you guys and my community on here, I didn’t really feel like I deserved to be a person. Obviously… Growing Up On The Internet has had it’s toll."
"It’s not a natural/normal human experience to develop as a person in front of hundreds of thousands of eyes but thinking back I’d never change a thing. This album is about exactly that - I only recently began processing how fu***d up so many of my experiences on here have been...," he added.
The singer ended the statement by addressing his fans, hoping his words on the album resonated with them, and thanked them for their support.
Noahfinnce started his career on YouTube and Instagram as a vlogger in 2015. His work during this phase of his career was critically acclaimed. He was nominated for the LGBTQ+ Account award at the 2019 Shorty Awards and won the Vlogger of the Year award at the 2022 Blogosphere Awards.
