Cardi B announced her divorce from Offset via an Instagram post on August 2, 2024. On August 7, 2024, Offset posted a picture of himself on Instagram stories with the caption stating:

"A n***a will live with you, eat off you, help his family, and still b hating inside cuz they ain't pop on they own be the ni**a blaming the world for his f ups.....Sucka!"

Days before Cardi B announced her divorce from Offset, rumors of him cheating on Cardi started doing the rounds given he was spotted with his ex-girlfriend PrettyRedz around July 31, 2024. The cheating rumors began after blurred videos of the rapper with 7 months pregnant PrettyRedz at a casino.

Offset addressed the rumors via an Instagram Live on July 31, 2024, stating "Shawty ain’t my shawty,”. Additionally, according to HotNew HipHop, the rapper stated:

"People really need to do the research. I'm at a public place gambling at a casino with a married 8 month pregnant woman wtf I look like being outside publicly cheating SMD!!!"

Moreover, a video of Offset's Instagram Live was posted by The Neighborhood Talk and PrettyRedz took to the comment section of the post to clarify her end of the story. She mentioned:

"SMH that man wasn't with me I was already there wit my husband sister & brother. And I'm 7 months pregnant... Y'all really have to stop with this type of behavior."
