The tour comes at a time when the singer is dealing with a degenerative muscle disease called Inclusion Body Myositis (IBM), which led to the singer having to retire from touring after a farewell tour in 2019. The singer, however, returned to touring in 2023 and has since completed a short tour earlier this year.

Peter Frampton started his career early in life with several bands while he was in school, with the last one being the Herd, for which he was the lead guitarist and singer at the age of 16. Subsequently, he became a member of Humble Pie at the age of 18.
In 1972, he parted from Humble Pie and established a solo career, with his first breakthrough coming five years later with the album I'm in You, released through A&M Records on June 3, 1977. The album was a commercial hit, peaking at number 2 on the Billboard 200 album chart and securing several platinum certifications after its release. It remains his most successful album to date.
The singer's next album, Where I Should Be, was released on May 30, 1979. The album also succeeded, securing a spot in the top 20 positions on the Billboard 200 album chart and several gold certifications.
