The top five Adin Ross on-stream moments with popular rappers and artists
Kick streamer and co-owner Adin Ross has become one of the most famous creators in the online streaming community, gaining tens of millions of followers across his social media platforms.
Adin's rapid rise to success also led to crossover collaborations where popular artists and rappers, within hip-hop, would meet up with the streamer by appearing on his live streams to promote their music.
This feature will catalog the top five moments where Adin Ross and rappers collaborated on his livestream.
1) Adin Ross x Playboi Carti
Early in February this year, Adin Ross was gearing up for a major collaboration with Atlanta rapper Playboi Carti, who was expected to arrive on his livestream to discuss his highly anticipated upcoming album I AM MUSIC.
Playboi was reportedly promised a 2 million dollar check for his collaboration with Adin and Kick, with the streamer giving the rapper a bag full of cash upon his arrival. Less than 10 minutes after arriving and accepting the duffle bag, Carti said he had to leave and head back to the studio.
This appeared to upset Ross, who later confirmed that Carti's team confronted his team outside his house for wanting a private jet to be chartered. Adin also cited how their interaction wasn't professional, with them aggressively requesting for the remaining amount of money to be paid.
2) Adin Ross x 21 Savage
On February 2, a few days before Adin Ross would invite Playboi Carti on stream, the Kick streamer collaborated with 21 Savage who had just released his third studio album American Dream.
The stream kicked off to a good start with both individuals discussing music and playing video games. However, toward the end of the stream, they played a wagered card game, where the goal of the player was to pick the highest-valued card from a randomly shuffled deck.
During the game, Adin lost $250,000 to the rapper after 21 picked a higher value card. Live viewers would then inform the streamer, on-chat, that 21 Savage had cheated and was using marked cards. Ross confronted the rapper, who proceeded to waive his win and leave the streamer's house not long after the incident.
3) Adin Ross x Tory Lanez
In June 2021, Adin Ross invited rapper Tory Lanez on the stream to discuss hip-hop, his expansive discography, and his recently released music. A few minutes into their livestream, the duo decided to freestyle over several beats.
During their freestyles, Ross played the instrumental to Soulja Boy's She Make It Clap. Adin starts the cypher before Tory enters with a verse. This freestyle was clipped and shared online, generating millions of views on social media.
"Ayy, I see a motherf--ker smilin' / 20,000 bad b---hes on an island / 20,000 bad b---hes goin' private, mmm / She make it clap, I got the strap / 21 gats, feel like I'm Savage / 21 b---hes and none of them average / I'm gon' f--k me tonight me a bad b---h" - Tory Lanez rapped on Adin Ross' Livestream.
4) Adin Ross x Soulja Boy
Adin and Soulja Boy have collaborated several times over the years, from viral freestyles to on-stream phone conversations. More recently, Soulja met up with Ross for a three-and-a-half-hour live stream, on January 31, which led to several viral and hilarious moments.
The duo spent a significant portion of the stream discussing their music and cultural interests and playing a game of basketball together. As the stream neared its end, both individuals would live-stream their interaction with people on the Omegle-like video chatting platform called Monkey.
5) Adin Ross x Lil Uzi Vert
During Adin Ross's rising streaming career, where he was meeting up with major names in the music industry, the streamer collaborated with rapper Lil Uzi Vert in late 2021. Uzi and Ross's stream was filled with musical easter eggs, with the rapper delivering a full-fledged freestyle record over a melodic instrumental.
The clip of Lil Uzi Vert freestyling was an extremely viral moment and has since generated over 12 million views on Adin's YouTube channel. Notable moments from this stream also include the rapper dying Ross's hair green.
"Came with a holster, yeah / I cannot post her, yeah / I am a floater, yeah / I hit my shoulder, yeah / This is a freestyle, Um, what do you mean? / Yеah, my hair blue, Adin hair is green (Yuh) / F--ked this bitch, all the way 'til shе sing / Yeah, look at my chain / On Yao Ming, that mean it's tall" - Lil Uzi Vert raps on Adin's 2021 livestream.
More recently, Adin appeared as a guest on the Betr podcast, where he suggested that he could have an upcoming stream set up with Kanye West.
