Obie Trice seemingly extended his sympathies for disgraced hip-hop mogul Sean "Diddy" Combs, and the internet reacted strongly. On Saturday, September 28, Trice released an Instagram post criticizing "internet people" and requesting social media users not to let the online media influence them in the context of the allegations faced by Diddy.

Trice's Instagram post was a simple picture of Diddy with Jay-Z's “Grammy Family” Freestyle playing in the background. He even referenced the track, which originated from a freestyle session on Hot 97, in the caption of his post. In a fiery message asking people to stop playing with the lives of others, Obie Trice captioned his Instagram post:

"diddy Media medals n***az sue you settle every step you take you reminded you ghetto!!!🙏🏾 stay strong🫡 #mostkings you internet people is hilarious man I don’t know puff but he a black man yall let this internet influence YOU!! That’s why I’m never on this bs frfr."

Social media users had a lot to say about Obie Trice's post regarding Diddy. One X (formerly Twitter) user, who went by @rvziel_Kain, criticized Trice and asked him to get himself educated:

"Shut the f**k up, Obie. Yo stupid a*s, read the news or some s**t. 😒"

Similar reactions followed as social media users speculated that Trice must not have seen the reported CNN footage of Puff Daddy assaulting his ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura. Some took Obie's post as signs of him hiding something, while others told him that guilty was guilty, regardless of race.

Another individual has come forward with allegations against Diddy

Another reported victim of Sean "Diddy" Combs came forward last week and detailed the offenses she allegedly suffered at the hands of the record producer. The woman's lawsuit filed on Friday, September 27, claimed that Puffy allegedly r*ped and drugged her multiple times at his residences. As per Live Mint, the lawsuit read:

"At every visit, (Combs) would make her ‘perform a show’ for him and would ply her with alcohol and substances until she passed out — she would wake up with bruising and injuries but with no recollection of how she sustained her injuries."

According to NPR, the woman, who only identified as Jane Doe, claimed she first started seeing Diddy in 2021. The hip-hop mogul allegedly drugged and assaulted her ever since, until as recently as July of this year. Jane Doe claimed that she was manipulated into traveling to different locations, had her location tracked, conversations monitored, and her s*xual encounters were even allegedly filmed by Puffy and his associates without consent.

Furthermore, the woman alleged that in the spring of 2022, she would always blackout after repeatedly being forced to have s*x with Combs and take drugs that may have contained ketamine. According to NPR, in the summer of 2022, she discovered she was pregnant.

As per USA Today, Diddy's associate Caresha Brownlee, also known as the rapper Yung Miami, allegedly demanded that she have an abortion.

According to the lawsuit, the plaintiff eventually suffered a miscarriage due to the stress. As reported by Mint, the lawsuit filed against Diddy, his company, and associates aimed to seek an undisclosed amount in damages for the humiliation, anxiety, physical injuries, emotional distress, and other harm allegedly suffered by the victim.
