While Sean "Diddy" Combs celebrated his birthday on November 04, 2024, in prison, his children called to wish him on the occasion. Six of the rapper's children gathered around a cake sang happy birthday for their father, a reel of which was shared by Diddy's son Justin on Instagram. Additionally, the rapper's oldest daughter Chance Combs FaceTimed her father, wishing him on the occasion of his birthday.
Justin Combs captioned the video "Happy Birthday Pops, we love you! 🎂❤️" and netizens were quick to take to the comment section of Justin's post to express their reactions on Diddy's children wishing him. Commenting on empathizing with the rapper's children, an internet user stated:
"This is actually sad. Sad for the kids, not for him."

In the video posted by Justin Combs, Diddy's children Christian, Quincy, and twins Jessie and D'Lila were seen singing "happy birthday to daddy" alongside the rapper's two-year-old daughter Love. After the song was over, Love blew out the candle on the cake and the rapper responded to this gesture from his children via call stating:
"I love y'all, I can't wait to see y'all. I'm proud of y'all, especially the girls, all of y'all, but just for being strong, thank you for being strong."
The rapper added:
"Thank you for being by my side and supporting me, I got the best family in the world. It's my birthday, I'm happy for you giving me this call, I'll see you in a couple of days."
The rapper's children held up Chance Combs' video call for him to see, and near the end, Diddy told his kids, "I love you." Everyone started laughing when they saw Love Combs put her face into the cake.
The recent instance of calling the rapper to wish him is not the first time Diddy's children have shown support toward their father. On October 22, 2024, the rapper's children took to Instagram to share a picture of all of them alongside the rapper with the caption stating:
"We stand united, supporting you every step of the way. We hold onto the truth, knowing it will prevail, and nothing will break the strength of our family. WE MISS YOU & LOVE YOU DAD."
Diddy was arrested on September 16, 2024, and is currently awaiting trial at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brookyln. A grand jury indicted the rapper on charges of s*x trafficking, racketeering, and transportation to engage in prostitution.
The rapper has seven children wherein he shares Christian with the late Kim Porter with whom he also adopted Porter's son Quincy. Kim Porter and Diddy also share twins Jessie and D'Lila with Kim Porter and Justin Combs with his ex Misa Hylton.
