Former Sean “Diddy” Combs associate Freddy P did a sit-down interview on October 29 with The Art of Dialogue. During the conversation, he was asked about his reaction to the hip-hop mogul’s mother Janice Small Combs publicly defending her son amid the ongoing legal troubles.

In response, the former Da Band member claimed Diddy’s mother was a “monster” and held her responsible for her son’s current condition.

“Yeah, he not a monster, she is, but I don’t want to go down. But she’s the… f*cking monster. Everything in her f*cking name. She’s the monster, she created that and you’ll gonna see that on that Netflix,” the 43-year-old stated.

Freddy P, whose real name is Freddrick Watson, explained that he was talking about the upcoming Netflix docuseries being made by another hip-hop magnate 50 Cent, based on the violent and s*xual misconduct allegations, as well as s*x trafficking and racketeering charges against Diddy.

Exploring Freddy P’s latest remarks on Diddy and his mother

In a recent conversation with The Art of Dialogue, Freddy P called Sean Combs’ mother “the f*cking devil” and blamed her for turning her son into an alleged criminal and hinted that she and Diddy shared an inappropriate mother-son relationship.

“I don’t give a f*ck what she talk about… Seeing her defend Diddy is like sit you’re a*s down. You’re the worst person. You’re the wrong one,” Freddy claimed about Janice Small Combs.

The Miami emcee further compared Diddy’s mom to convicted s*x offender and former record producer R. Kelly. He explained that Janice Small Combs defending the Bad Boy Records founder was like R. Kelly “coming to talk it up for you.”

Freddy P called her out for claiming her son as “innocent,” and asked her to “f*cking shut up.”

“You the reason the man like he is,” Freddy added.

When asked whether he ever had any “issues” with Janice Small Combs, Freddrick Watson responded that he never had any problems with her, and just simply didn’t like her, because she reportedly “got my motherf*cking money.”

He accused Diddy’s mother of owing him money and shared that she had robbed him of it by “polishing.”

According to Freddy P, he still had “backed up cheques,” however, the statute of limitations was over, which is why he could no longer get his money, which may have been over $10 million.

The former Making the Band cast member mentioned how he didn’t like anybody who seemingly watched Diddy act like an alleged “abuser” but didn’t have the “heart to speak up.”

Freddy P also claimed that he wouldn't have remained silent if he was in their places.

Subsequently, he doubled down on the famous story of how Diddy asked Da Band members like himself to walk from midtown Manhattan all the way to Brooklyn for a cheesecake, saying he spoke up against Diddy back then in the early 2000s.

“I was like, ‘I’ll get you a cheesecake ‘cause you changing a life, but I ain’t getting that sh*t.’ And they just started laughing and I walked out. I ain;t never been afraid to tell Puffy, my mama, my daddy, nobody, nothing,” Freddrick shared.

He went on to add how he wasn’t “scared” to talk about Puffy, his mother, or his kids, because he had God guiding him every step of the way.

He wrapped up by saying that he was not a person to feel much hatred and anger for people, but as someone who knew Janice Small Combs, he never approved of her as a person or a mother.

Elsewhere, Freddy P lauded 50 Cent’s “smart a*s” initiative to make a Diddy docuseries where his alleged victims got a platform to say their “truths.”

He also claimed that all G-Unit Films and Television Inc. founder wanted was to get to the “bottom” of Combs’ alleged wrongdoings, and explore facts, without leading with money.

“That sh*t so genuine to the point where he’s not trying to compensate… this DVD gets to the mama, the f*cking satanic behind... all this,” Freddy added.

For those unaware, Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson has been teasing a Netflix documentary about Sean Combs’ alleged illicit activities since the latter was first accused of s*xual assault, physical abuse, and trafficking by his former girlfriend Cassie in November 2023.

Later, in July, 50 Cent told The Hollywood Reporter that he was partnering up with Netflix for the project.

Later, in September 2024, Netflix officially announced the unnamed docuseries which is being executive produced by 50 Cent through his G-Unit Film & TV studio in collaboration with Alexandria Stapleton, who is directing and co-producing it through House of Nonfiction and Texas Crew Productions.

“This is a story with significant human impact. It is a complex narrative spanning decades, not just the headlines or clips seen so far,” Jackson and Stapleton told Variety exclusively last month.

Meanwhile, in early October, Janice Small Combs issued a statement in defense of her son via her attorney. She claimed that although her son wasn’t “perfect,” he was also not a “monster.”

Diddy’s mom said that the ongoing federal case was a “public lynching of my son”

“It is heartbreaking to see my son judged not for the truth, but for a narrative created out of lies,” Janice said.

Her statement further mentioned how she was “profoundly saddened” by the ongoing scandal and asserted that the Love Album creator deserved a chance to “prove his innocence” in court.

Diddy, who is currently facing the charges of racketeering conspiracy, s*x trafficking by force, fraud, or coercion, and transportation to engage in prostitution has his trial pending, slated to begin on May 5, 2025.

Meanwhile, he continues to face several s*xual assault accusations and lawsuits.
