An overview of Taemin's career

Taemin started his career as a member of ShiNee in 2008, with whom he has a total of 11 Korean language albums as well as five Japanese language albums, alongside multiple EPs.

His solo music endeavours began with the EP Ace in 2014, which was quickly by his debut album, Press It, in 2016. The singer subsequently released a second EP in the same year titled, Sayonara Hitori. This was followed by two new releases, an album and a EP, in 2017.

His third, eponymous album, Taemin, was released on November 5, 2018, followed by the EP Want in 2019. The singer spoke about the EP in an exclusive interview with NME on March 6, 2019, stating:

"I spent about a total of one year preparing for the ‘WANT’ album. There were a lot of changes made to it during the process because I really wanted it to reflect my music style, and to connect this album to ‘Move’. It’s really focused on feelings closer to desire and craving, I wanted to really solidify this concept"

Taemin released his last EP, Guilty, on October 30, 2023. Meanwhile, his last full length studio album, the two-act Never Gonna Dance Again album, was released on September 7, 2020 and November 9, 2020.
