On November 14, Kanye West’s former staffer, Murphy Aficionado, filed a lawsuit against him in California, citing alleged uncomfortable and difficult working conditions. Aficionado has claimed that working for the rapper was a “nightmare” and also accused his ex-boss of antisemitism.

Trigger Warning: This article has antisemitic and s*xual references that may upset the readers. Discretion is advised.

The court documents obtained by Page Six claimed how Aficionado once saw Ye “sporting a T-shirt with a swastika” on it. The Yeezy founder allegedly asked him, “Don’t you like my shirt?” Murphy further accused Kanye of “racist lectures” and anti-Jewish tirades and conspiracies, including alleging that his ex-wife Kim Kardashian “has Jewish masters.”

“Often, these outbursts involved how Jews controlled the Kardashians. Other times, Ye recounted how Jews were going after him and his money. Those very same days, Ye would incessantly yell at his staff, including Aficionado,” the lawsuit claimed.

Kanye West’s ex-employee also alleged that he once abruptly left business meetings to go and have “loud s*x” with his girlfriend turned now-estranged wife, Bianca Censori.

Further exploring the latest lawsuit against Kanye West

On Thursday, Kanye West was sued by one of his former employees, Murphy Aficionado, who was seemingly hired as a project manager for Ye’s company in October 2022.

As per the lawsuit, Ye invited him to the Beverly Hills Hotel Waldorf Astoria for a “work meeting” the month after joining. However, when Murphy arrived at his then-boss’s suite, Kanye was reportedly “shirtless and out of breath.”

“Aficionado entered the lavish hotel room but was taken aback to realize Ye’s pants unbuttoned and find his then-girlfriend, Bianca Censori, standing topless – her hands barely covering her bare breasts. It was immediately obvious to Aficionado that Censori and Ye were very recently having s*x,” the suit claimed.

The document alleged that the now 35-year-old Aficionado was “overwhelmed with discomfort” in this alleged situation and told Kanye how he would come back later. However, the rapper allegedly “commanded” him to come inside the suite, and he seemingly followed the instructions out of fear of Ye’s “explosive anger and aggression.”

The court documents further mentioned how Bianca Censori moved to the bedroom, and Kanye followed her without “warning” Aficionado, despite being “in the middle of their conversation.” The rapper allegedly closed the door but left it “only slightly open.”

“Within seconds, Aficionado began hearing loud moaning and clapping, emanating from the room Ye and Censori were having s*x in,” the suit alleged.

It further claimed that Kanye returned moments later wearing a Swastika T-shirt and “then randomly and without solicitation” sat down with the plaintiff and reportedly showed him “n*de photos of his ex-wife Kim Kardashian on his phone.”

Murphy Aficionado detailed another incident in his lawsuit, claiming West called him back to the same hotel later that week. However, instead of Bianca Censori, Ye allegedly got involved in a similar situation with a masseuse. The former staffer of the 47-year-old rapper has claimed that such experiences left him “feeling violated and dehumanized.”

As for Ye’s alleged antisemitic behavior and actions, Aficionado claimed those were “a daily occurrence,” adding that his ex-boss’s “proud bigotry” was well known among his employees.

Kanye allegedly once told Murphy that Kim Kardashian has “Jewish masters” who tried to “control” him, his family, and his kids. The DONDA founder often reportedly claimed that Jews were “out to get me,” or they “froze my bank account,” or “The Jews got Kim and my kids.”

Elsewhere, the plaintiff accused Kanye of not paying his dues. Murphy allegedly worked for Ye for nine months and was promised $125 per hour. However, despite working 70 hours per week, he allegedly “did not receive any pay for my work.”

The lawsuit also claimed that Aficionado was “shunned and terminated” from his job after he refused to move forward with a construction project (Kanye’s school Donda Academy). Murphy claimed his ex-boss “commanded” him to continue “without building permits.”

When he seemingly pointed out that it could lead to “hefty fines and potentially even put school children in danger,” he was allegedly fired in July 2023. The plaintiff’s attorney, William Reed, said the lawsuit was an effort "to force Ye to learn that this conduct has no place in our society." He added that the hip-hop mogul’s "vitriol, hate, and antisemitism continues, as does his complete and utter disrespect for the women around him."

Murphy Aficionado is suing Kanye West for discrimination, hostile work environment, retaliation, labor violations, and failure to pay wages. He seeks unspecified compensation for outstanding contractual payments and emotional and psychological damage.

The latest lawsuit against Ye comes amid already existing ones from this year alone. For instance, in April, another former employee, Benjamin Deshon Provo, sued Ye for wrongful termination due to his Islamic faith. In June, West’s ex-assistant Lauren Pisciotta filed a lawsuit accusing him of s*xual harassment, drugging, assault, and wrongful termination.

Likewise, in October, a former “director of intelligence” for Ye sued him for allegedly asking him to investigate Kim Kardashian and her family and follow Bianca Censori during vacation. Another employee named Trevor Phillips has also taken legal action against the Yeezy owner due to ethnic discrimination and firing.
