"That was his boyfriend allegedly, they had a bromance" - Choke No Joke calls out Jay-Z for not supporting Diddy publicly 

Videographer, producer, and director Choke No Joke recently called out Jay-Z for not standing by Diddy during the latter’s ongoing legal issues. The musical artist appeared for an interview with HYPE+ on October 8 where he was asked whether he believed that Shawn Carter “snaked” on Sean Combs.

In response, Choke No Joke asked a rhetorical question, “Is he [Jay-Z] supporting him [Diddy] right now?” He then went on to explain how the Bad Boys Records founder was attending his court sessions with only his sons by his side and there was no sight of anyone from the industry, including the Roc Nation boss. He mentioned how Combs’ crimes “don’t warrant for nobody to support him,” yet even the most guilty person deserved a chance.

“You see him get out here and defend his character? You see him say anything? But you see how close they were back then, right?... Gang of video, that was his boyfriend allegedly, bromance rather. They had a bromance. So, where’s your support for your brother?” Choke No Joke shared.

He further mentioned that he didn’t “care” about the accusations leveled against Diddy, despite that, Jay-Z should have had his back, just like “growing up in the hood” people went to support their “man” in the court or when they were arrested. Choke No Joke shared that if Diddy indeed battled with s*x or drug-related addictions as per the allegations, there were more reasons to help him out.

Choke No Joke recently sat down with HYPE+ and shared his opinion on Diddy’s arrest and federal indictment, while also slamming the music industry for not showing up for him, especially Jay-Z, whom he claims shared a “bromance” with the now-disgraced hip-hop mogul.

“Jay was at the Grammys with him when he made that speech, right? Now he get in trouble, where the hell is everybody at? You can’t, we cannot erase the images of Jay being with Diddy like right there at the top of the mountain. They was together,” the documentarian alleged.

Choke No Joke also mentioned how according to him Jay-Z didn’t set up Diddy, however, he might be snitching on him, at the moment, and was “not on the up and up.”

“I believe Jay-Z is a 137 Source,” he alleged before explaining that it means he is “a person that works for the federal government that they will never disclose is working for the federal government. Not even to another federal agent that’s on another case, or even a judge.”

When asked whether it meant Shawn Carter was a “topnotch informant?” Choke No Joke agreed and added, that it means he can’t allegedly be caught testifying or simply have immunity.

Elsewhere, the industry insider called out other celebrities who for so long “partied” with Diddy until last year, such as at the Revolt World event or at the Grammy where he was awarded. He also mentioned how A-listers supported him at his best when his album was seemingly at the top of all the charts, but now they have all abandoned him at his worst.

During the conversation with HYPE+, Choke No Joke was also asked about his October 5 Instagram post on Jay-Z and Diddy which had a monochrome picture of the hip-hop duo with the words, “Now we know! Who’s the last man standing!” written on it.

“Four years ago, I posted this picture and said, ‘One of these dudes will be the Last Man Standing!’ To be the last one standing One must out Snake the other. I guess we know who’s the Last Man Standing now!!!!” he captioned his post.

Choke No Joke further explained how he knew the photograph had a “deeper meaning” at the time and looking at it now in the current circumstances, he realized how his prediction came true.

“Is Jay standing by his Man? No! Stay tuned because this picture has an even deeper meaning. Pay close attention! Diddy and Jay are grimy!!! Diddy, I have no pity for, anymore. I heard too much now. I believe a lot of it,” he concluded.

Earlier, during the same interview, Choke No Joke claimed that just like Jay-Z, Diddy shared a “bromance” with Jamie Foxx, which over the years turned “sour under the rainbow.”

He claimed that Sean Combs was responsible for Jamie Foxx's 2023 medical emergency and that a Marvel star reported him to the FBI. He also alleged that Foxx confessed this during the filming of his upcoming Netflix special, What Had Happened Was.
