According to a press release from Taste of Country, over 70,000 fans attended Morgan's show and welcomed the singer on stage with a cheer that allegedly registered 114 decibels.
During the show, Morgan Wallen expressed his gratitude to Church and mentioned:
“One of the very first concerts I saw was Mr. Eric Church … when he was at Thompson-Boling Arena in 2014. I decided that day I wanted to sing country music. So, I wouldn't be here if it wasn’t for you, brother.”
