Alc's The Genuine Articulate opens with the lead single for the project titled Ferraris In The Rain. The track finds Alan collaborating with rapper ScHoolboy Q for a high-energy, abrasive, hip-hop record.

Alan and Q's Ferraris In The Rain primarily revolves around themes of success, luxury, wealth, status, and competition, with the producer drawing comparisons between himself and Thracian gladiator, Spartacus, as seen on lines like:

"Wrap a ribbon around his wig and make him crisp (The f--k you doin', man?) / I'm a genuine article (Uh) / The jammy's a food processor, it'll blend you into particles / Inside a venue, I'm Spartacus (Me) / I'm the finisher, you still working with a starter kit (Come on) / That boy is buggin', he got bars to spit"

Fans are then introduced to a solo performance from Alan on the track titled Something Light, whose slow-paced, yet electric, production helps accentuate the fast rhyme schemes and bars delivered on the record.

In Something Light, Alan speaks on themes of excess, drug abuse, and luxury. The track is filled with fun pop culture samples like Denzel Washington's speech from "The Equalizer 2" being used as a bridge after the song's hook.

"I perform like a scientist / With the scalpel and the forceps / Throw the foul in the fryin' dish / Knock, knock, I'm at your doorstep / This is what you've been waitin' on / Scoob and Scrap with the dance steps / Fragile lights, what you skatin' on / Bubble hash, that was hand-pressed / Double back, get my s--t straight" - The Alchemist's hook on 'Something Light'.

After being included in the outro for Something Light, Action Bronson makes his official "featured appearance" on the third track titled Minnesota Fats, alongside rapper Big Body Bes.

The title of the track seemingly pays homage to legendary pool player Rudolf Wanderone, who famously went by the alias of Minnesota Fats. Alan even references Rudolf, making a "pool" connection, in the final bar of his verse where he states:

"I'm grinning from ear to ear, had every whip I could ever care to steer (All of 'em) / Pull 'em three of a kind, I never shared a pair (He's a villainous person) / I'm a grinch, I'll ruin your dinner / Versatile, I play the two guard and the center / Minnesota Fats, strike the cue ball in the middle"

Alan teamed up with surviving Mobb Depp member, Havoc, on the LP's fourth track titled Scientology. The duo worked together on the hip-hop collective's final studio album together, The Infamous Mobb Deep, which was released in 2014.

Although Havoc has been consistently releasing music over the years, Scientology and his speculated collaboration album with Alc marks Mobb Deep's first release since Prodigy died in 2017.

"H-A-V-O the chosen, stay golden / Let a n---a get all his roses, stay focused / One door closed, another one just opened / One M, two M, three Ms, every day a weekend / Goin' off the deep end with ALC / Knowing we the best, come on, they all see / This one or that one? F--k it, take all three" - Havoc raps on 'Scientology'.

On Everybody’s Favorite Uncle, Alan delivers an atmospheric, spacy, production where he speaks on themes of luxury, success, and wealth, drawing instances from an excessive lifestyle.

The track is supported by a single verse, where Alc delivers introspective bars that highlight why he would be "Everybody’s Favorite Uncle," as seen on lines like:

"Every record I bleed and spill a blood vessel (Blood) / Playin' with the cheat codes, I hit a plus-level / The only one who stood in the wreckage when the dust settled (I was right there) / You lay a hand on me and get infected from the rust metal / Dinner plates jumbo with the bags mixed, I'm makin' gumbo / I'm everybody's favorite uncle"

Alan then teams up with Conway The Machine for Diego Maradona, where both artists deliver impeccable performances by delivering highly memorable bars.

Alc and Con spend the majority of their verses flexing their lyrical ability, cadences, and rhyming proficiency, contributing to Diego Maradona's bouncy listening experience.

"That's f--kin' cap, Mr. Marcus (Ha) / Probably just got more resources ('Kay) / Walk in that garage, three Porsches ('Kay) / Michelin, three-star, three courses (Eatin') / Drumwork, big dogs, we bosses (Uh) / Catch a body with the sket, we toss it (Uh-huh) / They realizin' I'm a threat, be cautious" - Conway The Machine raps on 'Diego Maradona'.

Entering as the ninth track on The Genuine Articulate is the lyrical masterclass titled Details, where Alc teams up with Larry June for a well-sampled, slow-paced, bouncy production.

Besides the usual hip-hop tropes, the record also seemingly revolves around themes of independence, artistry, and truth. Notable bars from Alan's verse on Details include lines like:

"This is what you're gonna get from 'em, revenge / Put the names down on a paper, I got a list of 'em / Some expensive jacket is what I keep the stick under / Another whip, at this point, I'm collectin' vent numbers / There's no reason for this child behavior / He never chose to ride anybody else's wave, he's a style creator"

The Alchemist's Season's Change opens as the final track on TGA diving into a more emotional and slow-paced production.

The track is an emotional rollercoaster with Alan referencing instances from his personal life while speaking on themes of fatherhood, family, growth, change, and the cycle of life. Notable bars from Season's Change include lines like:

"Whеn I was young, I spent the summer surfin' (Uh) / Madе a bunch of bad decisions comin' up, nothin' is perfect, uh / If I could do it over, I wouldn't change the script / Signature style with the famous drip / Hash sizzle inside a spliff like a bacon strip / The game is fixed, I'm Michelangelo with a paint-and-sip / The finer things in life are overrated"

Alan The Alchemist's latest album, The Genuine Articulate, is a masterfully produced and mastered LP. Each track adds a fresh element of sample-heavy, spacy instrumentals, that blend into the boom-bap lyrical vocal performances.

The producer has also dropped official music videos for song's off the album's tracklist, which include records like Ferraris In The Rain (Feat. ScHoolboy Q) and Scientology (Feat. Havoc).
