A video posted by @HipHopDX on December 26, 2024, showcases rapper DaBaby aka Jonathan Lyndale Kirk, and his daughter vibing to Kendrick Lamar's track Squabble Up. While the rapper is taking the video on the road, his daughter is seen dancing to Lamar's 2024 track.

Internet users were quick to react to Kirk's video and took to X to express their opinions. Some of the netizens commented on the rapper's daughter becoming an opp which is hip-hop slang for enemy or opposition, given the rapper had Drake come to his Toronto concert in 2019 and surprise fans with his appearance.

"The list of opps keep growing , new name is Dababy’s daughter."
"Dababy daughter added to the OPP list loading..." an X user commented

"I’m glad it’s not Dababy squabble up remix" an X user tweeted
"DaBaby would rap hella fast to that song 😆" a netizen commented

"I don't like anything, I love everything about it. I accept it all with open arms and a smile on my face... wouldn't trade it for anything in the world."

Kirk also shared that he prefers hanging out with his family and that he cooks for his children. Giving some insight into the personality of his oldest daughter, the rapper said that Serenity takes full responsibility for being a big sister, daughter, grandchild, and niece. Talking about his second child Nova, who he shares with real-estate agent Latoia Danet, Kirk called her his "soft girl".

Next, he talked about his daughter Velour who he shares with singer Danielle Leigh Curiel. Kirk said that the relationship his daughters have with one another is a testament to the morals and principles he stands on, adding that despite growing up in different households, his children are closer than those who grow up in the same house.

On September 21, 2024, Kirk dropped How TF is This a Mixtape? featuring songs like Can’t Keep Keisha and Did It. Talking about the mixtape on Hot 97, the rapper said that the album comprises 14 tracks and no features, adding that it is the first time he put his heart into a body of work after four years since his last project.
