Philadelphia rapper PnB Rock's mother lashed out at her son's alleged killer, Freddie Trone for denying his involvement in Rock's murder. While speaking to Rolling Stone outside of the courtroom on Monday, August 5, Rock's mother Deannea Allen said that Trone's claims of innocence were "unacceptable". She told the publication,

"His lies are ridiculous. That is ridiculous. The surveillance should speak for itself."

During the court hearing on Monday, 42-year-old Trone claimed that a different driver had taken his 17-year-old son to Roscoes House of Chicken and Waffles, where he murdered PnB Rock. Rock was robbed, shot, and killed at the South Los Angeles location on September 12, 2022.

"My son was a beautiful person": Deannea Allen, PnB Rock's mother

As per Rolling Stone Rakim Allen, a.k.a. PnB Rock's mother Deannea Allen was in tears during Monday's last day of her son's murder case testimony in the Compton, California courthouse, when prosecutors brought up autopsy pictures of her son. She called the moment "devastating" and stated that she never wanted to see those pictures again.

PnB Rock's mother Deannea Allen told Rolling Stone on Monday that she was at the trial to get justice for her late son. Deannea, who had only heard of the trial's start on social media, stated,

"I want the jury to know he has a family who loves him and wants to support him. I learned a lot today."

She also stated that the jurors should question why Trone won't name the person who allegedly took him to his 17-year-old son's location in a burgundy SUV. Before claiming that Trone was "repeatedly lying", Deannea Allen told the publication,

"This is the same time that a robbery and a murder is being committed, and you don’t want to tell the jury who [the driver] is? It’s because they don’t exist. It’s another lie."

Trone's wife and mistress had both been charged as accessories after the fact and pleaded no contest. Deannea Allen told Rolling Stone that the woman in the case at least took responsibility but claimed that the men were trying to say that they had nothing to do with it. PnB Rock's mother said,

"It’s unacceptable. My son was a beautiful person. He tried to take care of everyone. Our last conversation was a half-hour when he was on his way to California. He told me about all the good things he was doing. He was just trying to be better, a little more conscious."

During his testimony, Freddie Trone denied the prosecution's claim that he was his son's getaway driver after the 17-year-old allegedly murdered Allen at Roscoes House of Chicken and Waffles. He claimed he had left the parking lot in his Buick Enclave, six minutes before the vehicle returned to drop off the 17-year-old this time according to Trone, with another driver.

Los Angeles County Deputy District Attorney Timothy Richardson told jurors that Trone should be found guilty of murder as he allegedly dropped his son off at the murder location with a Ski mask, semi-automated machine gun, and instructions to rob PnB Rock and his fiance. During his cross-examination, Freddie Trone told a prosecutor,

"I never had nothing to do with it. I wasn’t there. I didn’t tell nobody to do nothing. I didn’t hand nobody no gun."

Freddie Trone’s defense lawyer, Winston McKesson, alleged that Trone drove back to his beauty supply shop and went to the washroom, only to return and notice that his car keys and son were missing. Trone also claimed that he was driven to the location by another man in a burgundy SUV. Trone refused to testify about the person who allegedly drove him to the location.
