These five records have caught major attention this past week from online news media outlets across social media, with many projects aiming to break through Billboard's Global 200 and Hot 100 charts this week.
1) Faith Of A Mustard Seed (Mustard) - Album Release
Mustard dropped his fourth official studio album last Friday, which included features from Travis Scott, Kodak Black, ScHoolboy Q, and more, spread over a runtime of 50 minutes.
The project was distributed to all major streaming platforms on July 26, 2024, via 10 Summers Records, under an exclusive license to BMG Rights Management. Mustard's Faith Of A Mustard Seed included the following records as part of its official tracklist:

2) Y2K! (Ice Spice) - Album Release
Ice Spice finally dropped her highly anticipated debut studio album titled Y2K! on all major DSPs, last Friday, via Dolo Entertainment, under an exclusive license to UMG Recordings and 10K Projects LLC.
The 10-track LP includes features from Travis Scott, Gunna, and Central Cee, with a majority of the production handled by longtime collaborator and producer, Riot. The rapper's debut project includes the following records as part of the LP's official tracklist:

3) Diamante (Gordo) - Album Release
The Nicaraguan-American DJ and record producer, Gordo, dropped his first full-length project in four years, which follows up on his work with Drake on the rapper's 2022 dance-EDM album Honestly, Nevermind.
The new project features appearances from several artists like &ME, FEID, T-Pain, Leon Bridges, Drake, and more. The extensive list of features interestingly finds Gordo teaming up with singers and songwriters across genres like hip-hop, trap, EDM, and house.
Gordo's Diamante was delivered to DSPs via Ultra Records, LLC. The complete tracklist for the DJ's latest album has been provided below:

4) Hate Me (Ian x Lil Yachty) - Single Release
Ian and Lil Yachty teamed up last week to deliver their first career collaboration on a track titled Hate Me, which was distributed to all major streaming platforms via Quality Control Music and Motown Records, under an exclusive license to UMG Recordings.
The single was dropped alongside an accompanying visualizer shot and directed by Cole Bennett and his Lyrical Lemonade team. The music video was uploaded to the production house's official YouTube channel and has garnered over 3.3 million views since its release.
5) Prison Tapes (Tory Lanez) - Mixtape Release
While Tory Lanez continues to serve his 10-year sentence at the North Kern State Prison, the rapper released two new singles as part of his now ongoing mixtape series titled Prison Tapes.
The two records, Cell 245 and Wish I Never Met You, were distributed to all DSPs last Friday via One Umbrella Records. Tory has also confirmed, in his mixtape announcement post on Instagram, that a new single will be released every week going forward.
