These five records have caught major attention this past week from online news media outlets across social media, with many projects aiming to break through Billboard's Global 200 and Hot 100 charts this week.

1) The Death of Slim Shady (Eminem) - Album Release

Eminem dropped his highly anticipated 12th studio album, The Death of Slim Shady (Coup de Grâce), last Friday which featured appearances from White Gold, Skylar Gray, Ez Mil, BabyTron, Big Sean, Jelly Roll, and Sly Piper.

The project primarily focuses on a violent back-and-forth between Eminem and Slim Shady, as each other ego tries to suppress the other and take control of Marshall Mathers.

2) No Apologies (Kanye West x Consequence) - Single Release

Consequence just dropped No Apologies as, what appears to be, the lead single for an upcoming mixtape. The tape is rumored to be titled Nice Doing Business With You, and will likely be delivered to fans sometime later this year.

For the song's hook Consequence samples Kanye's verse off No Church In The Wild, which appeared as the first track on his 2011 collaboration album with Jay-Z titled Watch The Throne. The single was distributed to streaming platforms on July 12 via 192 Records and Hitmaker Distro.

3) Bliss (Zacari) - Album Release

After being signed to Top Dawg Entertainment, back in 2019, rapper and producer Zacari finally unveiled his debut studio album titled Bliss on all streaming platforms last Friday.

On July 12, 2024, $NOT dropped his fourth studio album titled Viceroy which included a feature from rapper Cochise. The LP was distributed to streaming platforms via 300 Entertainment LLC.

5) Pray For Me (DJ Mustard) - Single Release

DJ Mustard's Pray For Me was unveiled as the lead single for his highly anticipated fourth studio album FAITH OF A MUSTARD SEED, which is expected to drop on all DSPs later this month.

The single clocks in at a massive 10 minutes and was distributed to streaming platforms, last Friday, via 10 Summers Records under an exclusive license to BMG Rights Management (US) LLC.

Eminem's The Death of Slim Shady currently dominates streaming platforms given the album drew in millions of streams within three days of its release.
