This feature will be cataloging the hottest Hip Hop music releases from some of the biggest rappers in the game. From rising stars to established artists, our list will include records that would make an impressive addition to every rap fan's music playlist.
Rap Radar: Hip Hop releases of the week (30 June 2024 - 7 July 2024)
These five records have caught major attention this past week from online news media outlets across social media, with many projects aiming to break through Billboard's album and Hot 100 charts.

1) Tobey (Eminem x Big Sean x BabyTron) - Single Release
Eminem dropped Tobey as the second single for his upcoming 12th studio album Death of Slim Shady (Coup de Grâce), which featured guest appearances from fellow Michigan rappers Big Sean and BabyTron. Cole Bennett's Lyrical Lemonade will be uploading the music video for the song later today.
The single follows up on Em's lead single for the project, Houdini, which dropped last month alongside a music video featuring Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Pete Davidson, and more. The album will be delivered to fans on Friday, July 12, 2024, and will be distributed to DSPs via Shady, Aftermath, and Interscope Records.
2) A Great Chaos (Ken Carson) - Deluxe Album Release
Ken Carson dropped the Deluxe edition to his third studio album, A Great Chaos, last Friday which added seven new records to the LP bringing up the total number of records on the tracklist to 25. The project was distributed to all streaming platforms via Opium and Interscope Records.

3) Tough (Quavo x Lana Del Rey) - Single Release
Quavo and Lana Del Rey dropped their first career collaboration last week titled Tough, creatively producing a track that blends country and hip-hop genres into an emotional ballad diving into themes of love, relationships, maturity, and growth.
The single was released alongside a music video directed by Wyatt Spain Winfrey, uploaded to Quavo's official YouTube channel, where both artists play each other's romantic interests where viewers find them driving, shooting guns, and spending time together in the countryside.
4) Lithonia (Childish Gambino) - Single Release
Childish Gambino finally unveiled Lithonia, last week, acting as the lead single for his upcoming sixth and final studio album under his artist moniker titled Bando Stone & the New World. The single was distributed to all DSPs via RCA Records, under an exclusive license from mcDJ Recording.
The album was produced and created to be used as the official soundtrack for his upcoming directorial sci-fi feature of the same name, which will be released alongside the complete LP, on July 19, 2024.
5) 4eva Us Neva Them (42 Dugg) - Album Release
Last Friday, 42 Dugg dropped his debut studio album 4eva Us Neva Them on all streaming platforms via CMG and Interscope Records, featuring appearances from artists like Meek Mill, Lil Baby, Sexyy Red, Ryla Rodrigues, Blac Youngsta, EST Gee and Jeezy.

Besides these new hip-hop releases, Kendrick Lamar also dropped an official music video for his No.1 diss track Not Like Us which he self-directed along with Dave Free in his hometown Compton, Los Angeles.
The music video was filled with sneak disses and references to his iconic 2024 beef with Drake and featured cameos from multiple stars. These included K-Dot's fiancé, Whitney Alford, DeMar DeRozan, DJ Mustard, Top Dawg, Black Hippy Collective, the OVO owl, and more.
