In a recent episode of MTV U.K's So True Bestie on December 10, 2024, Andrew Garfield revealed that he is a Chappell Roan fan while promoting his movie upcoming We Live In Time with Florence Pugh. During the interview, Florence Pugh was asked who Andrew Garfield's favorite artist or someone he was likely to be caught listening to, and Pugh replied Chappell Roan.

While commenting on Pugh's answer, Andrew said:

"Yeah I've been talking about her for the last 48 hours."

Andrew also revealed that Chappell Roan's Red Wine Supernova was "killing" him, in addition to which he listed Good Luck, Babe!, Pink Pony Club, and Hot To Go as some of his favorite Chappell Roan tracks. The Silence actor said that he listens to Roan's The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess album "front to back every morning" and in the gym.

Netizens quickly took to X to express their opinions on Andrew Garfield being a Chappell Roan fan. Commenting on the same, an X user tweeted:

While Andrew Garfield's We Live In Time is scheduled to release on January 1, 2025, the actor along with his co-star Florence Pugh has been making headlines with promotional interviews.

In an interview with Digital Spy dated December 11, 2024, Andrew talked about the scene where Florence Pugh's character chooses to shave her head before undergoing chemotherapy and the Boy A actor's character takes the responsibility.

The publication mentioned that the scene didn't consist of any camera trickery and it was actually the actor himself shaving off Pugh's hair.

Commenting on the scene, Andrew said:

"I felt very, very privileged that I got to do it and take care of Florence's head for a while when it was in my responsibility. I was definitely nervous, and I definitely wanted to make sure I didn't injure anybody and that I gave a good even cut."

Moreover, Andrew addressed the scene that he was "really really scared" to shoot, stating it was the one where his and Florence Pugh's characters go ice skating. He said that he has never been good at ice skating and his co-star loved seeing him "like a Bambi on the ice."


While discussing Chappell Roan on MTV UK's So True Bestie, Andrew complimented Roan's track After Midnight and Super Graphic Ultra Modern Girl. He called Chappell Roan's The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess a "genius album" and appreciated the way Roan is setting boundaries with the world.

Toward the end of that segment, Andrew fist-bumped Florence Pugh, acknowledging that they had discussed Chappell Roan's topic in depth.
