English singer Perrie Edwards has been dating beau Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain since 2016 and the pair got engaged in June 2022. Perrie and Alex also share a son, Axel, whom they welcomed in 2021.
Recently, in an interview with an Australian radio channel, Perrie talked about why she and Chamberlain were delaying their marriage. Commenting on the topic, Perrie mentioned:
"There's a lot going on in my life right now, I've got so much. We've said about waiting for Axel to be older and then he can be a pageboy or whatever. It makes more sense."

Additionally, the Little Mix member stated that the two always talk about their wedding day and have also swapped multiple ideas for the same. The Power singer told the radio channel that she and her footballer fiance have a wedding plan ready in their mind and that they talk about it a lot.

In her recent Australian radio interview, Perrie talked about the delay in her marriage plans but stated that she feels like they've already planned their wedding and that her fiance Alex talks about the wedding more than she does. Calling Alex Chamberlain cute, Perrie said that her fiance wants to "pop it off".
Talking about what Alex Chamberlain and she want for the wedding, Perrie Edwards mentioned:
“He wants a party, a performer, he wants it to be a big thing. I’m like, I know who I want as bridesmaids and this and that."
Moreover, Perrie also highlighted:
“It’s all kind of set in stone but we haven’t actually planned it yet.”
The Forget About Us singer talked to BBC Radio 2 in April 2024 and told radio host Scott Mills that the task she finds the most difficult with wedding planning is to decide the guest list, given she doesn't know where to "draw the line".
On being asked what was the cutoff points for deciding the invitees, Perrie mentioned that she and Alex have the same conversation every day and that it keeps her "awake at night". Moreover, the singer responded to the host joking about 5-7 hundred people attending her wedding and stated the number might be true.
Perrie added that her fiance is very cutthroat with deciding whom to invite while she thinks along the lines of how most people will need a plus one.

Perrie Edwards is set to release her debut album, the details of which she keeps giving out in bits and pieces. The singer released Forget About Us and Tears from the album and has revealed that she worked with RAYE and Ed Sheeran on the unnamed project.
