On September 22, singer-songwriter Pink removed all her posts on the social media platform X except for two reposts from August 2017 and November 2016. The 45-year-old, who has over 30.4 million followers on the platform and 4347 posts, joined X in April 2009, as per her bio.

Pink nearly scrubbing out her social media came a few hours after R&B singer, songwriter, and dancer Usher too deleted all of his posts on the platform, temporarily. However, he later clarified that his “account got hacked” and slammed/ trolled his fans adding, “D*mn, y’all ran with it!”

Regardless, X users speculated that Usher briefly took down all his X posts due to the ongoing legal troubles of Sean “Diddy” Combs, who is the Confessions crooner’s ex-mentor. Netizens also claimed that Pink’s move was also related to Usher’s association with Combs as she was the former’s longtime friend and collaborator.

For instance, X user @SaltyGoat17 posted a 24-second clip of Pink’s X account and wrote in the caption:

“Ok, if this doesn't convince you that there's about to be a HUGE SH*TSTORM then I don't think anything will!! First Usher and now Pink has wiped her entire Twitter history!!! There are some very scared people out there with Diddy in jail. How many do y'all think we're about to see leave the country?!?”

Several others joined the conversation and shared similar reactions, alleging that the Can’t Take Me Home songstress was involved in the Diddy drama in some way as well.

“Something is definitely happening!” a person wrote.
“D*mn. It’s all gone. How the h*ll did she get in with that group?” one person asked.
“The awakening continues,” wrote another.

Others joked that despite Pink’s account being scrubbed, Elon Musk kept track of all her past tweets alongside screenshots kept by followers.

“Elon’s got all the receipts,” a netizen wrote.
“Oh wow. They’re so fk’d cause screenshots are gold, LOL,” another netizen wrote.

Meanwhile, some failed to connect the dots between Pink’s tweets deletion and Diddy’s recent arrest.

“Call me dense but why are they deleting their X accounts? What does it have to do with Diddy?” an individual asked.
“I'm sorry, what does having a Twitter account have to do with Diddy? Did they say things about being at his parties and such?” another individual asked.

Pink has previously removed her posts on X

This is not the first time Pink, whose real name is Alecia Beth Hart Moore, has scrubbed off her social media.

Earlier, in February 2024, she appeared on the Carrie & Tommy Show and revealed that the reason she took down all her posts from X was because she experienced “absolute hatred” including death threats on the platform.

"Oh, h*ll yeah. I feel free! Yes, I'm done. I've had so many beautiful experiences on Twitter and made so many wonderful connections that I would never have had otherwise. But that's not what Twitter is anymore… Now it's just a cesspool of unhappy people that go on there to dump. It's just not good for your mental health," the Pennsylvania native shared.

The artist further told the hosts of the Hit Network’s show Carrie Bickmore and Tommy Little how she conducted an “experiment” on the platform and just posted “a dot, a period.”

However, she was shocked at the responses she received including people writing in the comments, “I hope you die slowly,” “You're dumb,” or “Did you mean to do that?”

"But, for the most part, it was just absolute hatred. I was like, yeah, I need to remind myself and other people that you do not need to participate in any of that, and I'm just not going to participate anymore," she explained.

At the time, she also shared similar clarification during her ongoing Australia tour. While performing in Sydney, she addressed the audience from the stage and revealed that she “quit” Twitter a few days back as it was affecting her “mental health.”

Prior to going on her tour, she also hinted that she was exhausted from the Twitter crowd and was meaning to take a break.

“Have you ever been at a party with a bunch of salty old people that never realized their dreams? Where the liquor ran dry ages ago, there's no music, no one's dancing, you would've had more fun at home with your blind cat? That's Twitter these days – or whatever it's called now. Byeeeeeeeeeee,” Moore posted.

She later wrote in a follow-up post, "This account will self-destruct in two minutes. Do it!!!!" and it was scrubbed off almost immediately.

For those unaware, after Pink and Usher, actress Megan Fox took down all her posts dating back to 2013 from X. Internet sleuths are now speculating that her step is also connected to Diddy’s recent arrest. Fox’s former boyfriend Machine Gun Kelly has been an ex-associate of Sean Combs.

As for Usher, he spent his teenage years at Diddy’s home while pursuing a music career and has previously talked about witnessing “pretty wild” things happening in Diddy circles, including his infamous parties.

Not only that, but he and Ne-Yo were name-dropped in Dawn Richard’s recent lawsuit against Sean Combs, where they have been mentioned as witnesses to Diddy “physically abusing” his ex-girlfriend Cassie. However, neither Usher nor Ne-Yo have been accused of any wrongdoing.
