On September 28, 2024, X (formerly Twitter) users shared The Simpsons references that apparently predicted Diddy's white party. The infamous white parties thrown by the rapper have started to garner attention after his recent arrest and are named so owing to the white dress code of these parties.

The episode in question is titled "The Great Phatsby" and is the twelfth episode in Season 28. It is a two-part episode which was aired as an hour-long special and allegedly referred to the rapper's white party with similarities to celebrities who attended the same.

The internet was quick to react to The Simpsons' portrayal of Diddy's white party and took to X to express their opinions on the same. Highlighting how The Simpsons have had a series of true predictions, an X user tweeted:

"They've never been wrong."
"It’s scary how accurately they predict everything…", an X user mentioned.
"🧶🤔The “#Simpsons “serve as a mirror to society, revealing truths we often choose to ignore. Their 'predictions' are less about foresight and more about dissecting cultural narratives, challenging us to confront the absurdity of our realities." another X user shared.
"That’s wild! The Simpsons really have a knack for predicting the future. Do you think they knew something we didn’t, or was it just a coincidence?" an internet user questioned.

Additionally, internet users also talked about the accuracy with which The Simpsons portray events that become news later:

"We deff need to pay attention to the simpsons these mfs always predicting shit and they be accurate and right" an X user tweeted.
"The Simpsons' crystal ball strikes again! Diddy's drama and A-list cameos uncovered in Springfield's prophetic lens" another X user stated.

The synopsis of the episode revolves around Mr. Burns who tries reliving his past and crosses paths with a mysterious music artist and ends up getting conned by him. Throughout the episode, Mr. Burns tries to get revenge on the music mogul with the help of Bart, Homer, the artist's ex-wife and rapper Jazzy James.

“I had the craziest mix [of guests]: some of my boys from Harlem, Leonardo DiCaprio after he’d just finished Titanic. I had socialites there and relatives from down south. There were 200 people sitting out here, just having a down-home cookout,”

According to The Economic Times, the rapper's viral white parties were attended by multiple A-listers over the years including Chris Brown, Kim Kardashian, Paris Hilton, Ashton Kutcher, and Leonardo DiCaprio.

While the rapper has not spoken about these parties in recent years, in an interview with ET promoting his album Forever in 1999, Diddy commented on his parties and stated:

"They going to be shutting them down. They're going to probably be arresting me, doing all types of crazy things just because we want to have a good time."
