Instead of pausing her performance midway, the singer surprised fans by continuing to perform in the rain, making for striking visuals and a memorable performance. Clips and photos from the singer's Munich residency concert went viral and internet users were quick to react to the same via social media platforms like X (formerly Twitter).

"I can’t marry you, I’m already getting married"- Adele apparently confirms engagement to Rich Paul

According to PEOPLE, Adele and American sports agent Rich Paul confirmed rumours of dating in July 2021, post which the Hello singer has been hinting at her engagement or marriage with Rich. In a recent instance, Adele responded to a fan proposing to her at her concert in Munich, Germany on August 9, 2024, by stating:

“I can’t marry you, I’m already getting married”

The singer then held her left hand up to show her diamond ring, as concert attendees cheered in response to the news.

This is not the first time the Love In The Dark singer has addressed her engagement to Rich Paul. In September 2023, the singer was proposed by a fan during her residency in Las Vegas. Adele responded to a fan by stating that she couldn't marry the fan as her "husband's here tonight, he's here", she said referring to Rich Paul in the crowd.

Additionally, the singer also referred to herself as Rich Paul's wife during her residency at The Colosseum in Las Vegas, in September 2023 wherein she dubbed herself as "not the greatest wife" to Rich Paul, stating she didn't know much about American football and that she was trying to understand the sport for her partner.

Adele stated:

“I have spent a lot of my time trying to understand and also enjoy American football, because I love sports. I actually love watching sports. I just don’t understand the game, and it’s so annoying because I’m actually quite a clever person.”

While the Someone Like You singer has hinted at her serious relationship status with the American sports agent, there hasn't been an official announcement regarding Adele's marriage yet.
