One Dance rapper Drake's legal action against Universal Music Group has garnered a lot of attention and comments from artists. In the latest episode of The Adam 22 and Wack 100 Show, which premiered on December 2, 2024, Wack suspected that Drizzy and UMG could be working together.

Alleging that the Passionfruit rapper's lawsuit is a way to boost UMG's stock prices, Wack 100 said that he thinks and sees things differently. Wack stated:

"If that stock drops … And we see a shell company come in a buy a bunch of it. And then, out of nowhere, Drake drops the lawsuit. And that stock shoots up to 30, 40. I’ma think it was a play. This is all smoke and mirrors. The real play is over there. That’s where I think the play is at.”

Wack 100 suggested that "it's a bigger picture" and that he's just trying to share it with the audience. He told his co-host, Adam, that if in one to three months from now, Drizzy drops the lawsuit against UMG and goes away, Wack 100 wants somebody to research if UMG's stock dipped after the lawsuit was filed.

Wack added that it takes a few months sometimes, but if "some type of company or entity" invested in a lot of UMG stocks, the company's stock prices would begin to rise since Drizzy dropped the lawsuit.

"I think it sent him somewhere"- Wack 100 suggests Drake let emotions cloud his thoughts concerning legal action against UMG over Lamar's diss track

According to a report by Hot New HipHop dated November 26, 2024, Wack 100 talked about Drake's pre-action petition against UMG over Kendrick Lamar's diss track Not Like Us.

Wack took to social media to talk about the same on November 25, 2024, wherein he mentioned that Lamar's new album GNX was ruling the streaming charts. As per Billboard's report dated December 1, 2024, Kendrick Lamar's GNX debuted at No.1 on Billboard 200, making it the rapper's fifth album to top the charts.

As per HNHH, Wack 100 said that even if the allegations Drake has levied against UMG are true, the same could backfire on him if labels have been using a similar strategy with the Hotline Bling rapper's tracks. Commenting on the same, Wack 100 mentioned:

"Either way it go, he let his emotions cloud his thoughts so bad to where he's just swinging in the air and screaming. I'ma be real: I think when he seen Kendrick Lamar controlling the first 12 slots of Apple, I think it sent him somewhere."

In the latest episode of The Adam 22 and Wack 100 Show, Adam addressed the feud between Kendrick Lamar and Drizzy, stating Lamar hasn't had the same level of commercial success as the God's Plan rapper.

Additionally, Wack 100 said that both Lamar and Drake have been affiliated with UMG and that the music company spent money on promoting both of their tracks, but because Drizzy didn't come out on top, he was "crying about it".

As per a report by Billboard Pro dated November 25, 2024, Drake's company Frozen Moments LLC filed a legal petition accusing Universal Music Group and Spotify of falsely enhancing the popularity of Lamar's diss track Not Like Us.

The petition claimed that UMG launched a scheme comprising methods like payola and bots to boost the streams of Kendrick Lamar's diss track. Additionally, another petition dated November 26, 2024, accused UMG of defamation.

The Family Matters rapper alleged that the music company was aware of Not Like Us "falsely" accusing him of being a predator and certified p*dophile, yet they released the track.
