American rapper T.I. and his wife, Tiny Harris, recently asked a California judge to dismiss a 2005 lawsuit that accused the couple of s*xual assault and battery.

According to the court documents obtained by People magazine on June 27, 2024, the rapper and his wife filed a motion to entirely dismiss the case initiated by an unnamed Air Force veteran. The dismissal is sought because the statute of limitations on the plaintiff's time-barred claims has now expired.

T.I. and Tiny's attorney gave a statement on the same:

"Further, notwithstanding the fact that Defendants Clifford Harris (‘Mr. Harris’) and Tameka Harris (‘Mrs. Harris’) (collectively ‘Defendants’ or ‘Harrises’), deny that any of the alleged conduct even occurred, the Complaint fails to allege facts to sufficiently establish any of the claims alleged in the Complaint.”

The Air Force veteran filed a case against the couple in January 2024 and is seeking unspecified damages on the grounds of negligence, false imprisonment, s*xual assault, battery, s*xual battery, and intentional infliction of emotional distress. The alleged victim claimed that the 2005 incident prevented her from "obtaining full enjoyment of life".

Here's the timeline of allegations against T.I. and his wife Tiny Harris

CBS News reported that T.I. and Tiny Harris have been accused of multiple degrees of drugging and harassment-based crimes by different people. The timeline of the allegations against the couple began with Sabrina Peterson.

January 2021: A former friend of the couple, Sabrina Peterson, mentioned in a now-deleted post on Instagram that the rapper T.I. held her at gunpoint in front of her children. The caption of Sabrina Peterson's post stated:

"@troubleman31 you PUT A GUN TO MY HEAD IN FRONT OF CHILDREN & I NEVER CALLED THE POLICE ON YOU! But for years you have painted me as the VILLAIN!"

Sharing the screenshot of Sabrina's post, Tiny Harris took to the comment section alleging that her husband was an uncle to Sabrina's sons. Tiny also questioned when Sabrina changed her mind about accusing her husband.

February 2021: Sabrina Peterson's lawyer, Tyrone A. Blackburn, sent letters to law enforcement in California and Georgia, asking for criminal proceedings to begin on behalf of 11 unnamed accusers with allegations spanning over a decade.

According to the details obtained by Vulture, attorney Blackburn defined the letter from the 11 victims as:

“Eerily similar events of s*xual abuse, forced ingestion of illegal narcotics, kidnapping, terroristic threats and false imprisonment.”

March 2021: Sabrina Peterson sued the couple for defamation in the Los Angeles Superior Court. Peterson alleged that she was harassed by T.I. and Tiny Harris' fans and that her business suffered because of the bullying.

January 2024: An unnamed Air Force veteran accused T.I. and Tiny Harris of s*xual assault and abuse which took place in 2005. The victim claimed that she met the couple when she was serving in the U.S. Air Force and that Tiny Harris gave her a drink spiked with drugs.

She further claimed that after she passed out the couple took her to a hotel room where T.I. s*xually abused her while Tiny held her down.

A hearing of the couple's dismissal request for the latest case by the Air Force veteran is set for August 7, 2024.

However, the couple gave a joint statement to People Magazine in January 2024, alleging that the plaintiff has been threatening them to file the lawsuit for three years and that they have always denied these allegations.
