Internet users were quick to react to Ariana unfollowing The Recording Academy after the Grammy snub and took to X to express their opinions on the same. Commenting on how her action was unprofessional, an X user tweeted:

The singer's track Yes, And? is nominated for Best Dance Pop Recording, The Boy Is Mine remix with Brandy and Monica for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance, and Eternal Sunshine in Best Pop Vocal Album.
While Ariana hasn't commented on the Grammy snub yet, this is not the first time the singer has experienced the same. As per Variety, in February 2019, Ariana Grande refused to attend the Grammys and perform at the function.
