Beyoncé's Renaissance World Tour, her ninth concert tour, has become the seventh-highest-grossing concert tour of all time, according to official numbers posted by Billboard. It was also the most lucrative tour in Bey's career and was attended by several high-profile guests from across the world.
One notable attendee was Queen Bey's sister, Solange, who was one of the special guests at her Renaissance Tour concert at the FedEx Field on August 5, 2023. After the show, the 38-year-old took to Instagram and shared videos of the show to show some love to her sister and her niece.
As reported by Billboard, Solange Knowles shared a video of Queen Bey singing Before I Let Go in a sparkling silver dress and wrote:
"That’s myyyy sister y’allll, forever in awe."
Before I Let Go is originally a 1981 song by the American R&B band, Maze, which Beyoncé covered as a part of her 2019 film Homecoming. The song was a hit, peaking at number 65 on the Billboard Hot 100.
Solange also showered love on her niece, Blue Ivy Carter, sharing a clip of her dancing to Black Parade in a sparkly blue dress and black sunglasses. The caption said:
“Address me as Blue’s auntie only.”
The concert drew some other VIP guests, including the current Vice President Kamala Harris and her husband, Second Gentleman Doug Emhoff.
Beyoncé's Renaissance Tour saw several juggernauts from various sectors in the audience at several concerts, including Selena Gomez, Jessica Alba, Sofia Vergara, Mindy Kaling, Oprah Winfrey, Madonna, Kelly Rowland, Zendaya, Tom Holland, Kylie Jenner, Ariana Grande, Paul McCartney, Florence Pugh, and many others.
Solange got a birthday wish from Beyoncé during her Renaissance Tour concert
During her Renaissance Tour, Queen Bey performed in front of a packed crowd at Deutsche Bank Park in Frankfurt, Germany, on June 24, 2023. Coincidentally, the date happened to be the 37th birthday of Solange Knowles, and Queen Bey had a special gift for her.
In the middle of her performance, Queen Bey took a moment to shout out to the crowd, asking everyone to wish Solange a happy birthday. Sporting a dazzling black dress, Beyoncé shouted:
"Happy birthday Solange! Love you!"
Meanwhile, her legion of followers had their own little surprise for the birthday girl. The Bey Hive dug out an old, grainy clip of Solange Knowles dancing with her niece, Blue Ivy Carter, and spread it on social media.
Solange's son and mother attend Beyoncé's Renaissance Tour film's premiere
The premiere of Beyoncé's Renaissance Tour film was a family affair for the Knowles household. Her mother, Tina Knowles, attended the event with her grandson, Daniel 'Julez' Smith Jr., the 19-year-old son of Solange and her ex, Daniel Smith.
Tina Knowles posted a photo of the two on Instagram with the caption:
"My Handsome grandson @iamjulezjsmith styled by @shionat Both in Dolce and Gabbana."
