On December 10, 50 Cent shared a computer-generated video on Instagram featuring Jay-Z and Diddy getting arrested. It was captioned,
“I want to post this but I’m afraid I’m gonna get shot. LOL.”
The AI-made clip depicted a group of police officers arriving at a fictional party venue, where Shawn Carter and Sean Combs each held champagne glasses. The cops handcuffed the duo and escorted them out to the street, where a squad car was waiting.
Later, Jay-Z and Diddy were shown falsely standing inside a lockup with the champagne glasses still in their hands. The entire deepfake video played alongside KRS-One’s iconic track, Sound of Da Police.
The AI-generated video was originally posted by Instagram user and satirical content creator @manmeetsmachine with the caption,
“How are y’all feeling about the whole Jay-Z situation?”
However, it garnered traction after 50 Cent posted it, earning 406,953 likes in a couple of hours and wild comments from followers. For instance, user @keestosuccess_ commented under 50’s post, writing:
“Lol was that TD Jakes in the back??”
Many people joined the conversation and shared similar reactions.
Others continued to weigh in on X, and while some found it humorous, some found the post insensitive.
“Does 50 troll everyone or does he really not give af,” a person asked.
“50 using AI to troll? F*ck we are in for one LMAOO,” one person wrote.
“There’s trolling & there’s being completely insensitive,” wrote another.
Notably, the attire in which Jay-Z and Diddy appeared in the deepfake video matched their look at the latter’s 50th birthday party in Los Angeles in 2019.

Exploring 50 Cent’s other jabs at Jay-Z in wake of latter’s lawsuit
On December 8, Jay-Z was named in a civil lawsuit as a co-defendant of Diddy. He was accused of reportedly drugging and s*xually assaulting a 13-year-old girl at an MTV VMAs afterparty hosted by Combs while an unnamed female celebrity allegedly watched.
The lawsuit was originally filed in October against Diddy by Texas attorney Tony Buzbee on behalf of an anonymous woman referred to as Jane Doe. While Combs’ legal team has denied the accusation as he continues to remain behind bars on charges of s*x trafficking and racketeering, Jay-Z has also issued a statement via Roc Nation, refuting the allegations.
Regardless, rapper 50 Cent, a longtime critic of Diddy, has continued to discuss Jay-Z amid his ongoing legal issues. For instance, during a December 9 interview with Big Boy, the Queens rapper and entrepreneur expressed concern for Jay-Z’s latest legal troubles and predicted the NFL would consider cutting ties with him.
“I just hope things are all right for him internally. I mean at the crib. Because in the statement they mentioned his daughter being old enough to… ‘cuz she about 13. So, it’s the same age as these kids they saying he did something to… The damage is already done by the allegation itself,” 50 shared.
50 Cent was seemingly referring to Jay’s response to the lawsuit, where he said,
“My only heartbreak is for my family. My wife and I will have to sit our children down, one of whom is at the age where her friends will surely see the press and ask questions about the nature of these claims, and explain the cruelty and greed of people.”
Meanwhile, in a now-removed Instagram post, 50 Cent mocked Jay-Z and his family for attending the December 9 Mufasa premiere in Hollywood. Sharing a picture of Jay-Z, Beyonce, their eldest child, Blue Ivy, and Queen Bey’s mother, Tina Knowles, on the red carpet, the G-Unity Foundation owner wrote in the caption:
“Jay said they said I rapped a kid, everybody get dressed we going to see Mufasa LOL.”
Prior to that, 50 Cent, whose real name is Curtis Jackson, shared another post trolling Jay. In it, he shared a popular meme featuring himself smiling and driving away in a car and wrote,
“Ok I don’t know what’s going on, but are we gonna still have the Super Bowl? I’m just asking for a friend.”
It was an indirect dig at the Roc-A-Fella co-founder, who has been the co-producer of the Superbowl halftime show, and his company oversees the NFL’s entertainment division. 50 Cent further explained that he was "asking for Kendrick," implying Kendrick is the "friend" in question.
For the unversed, Jay-Z received mixed responses after Kendrick Lamar was named the headliner of Superbowl 2025’s halftime show scheduled for February in New Orleans.
