Morgan Wallen performed at the Mile High Stadium in Denver, Colorado, on July 3, 2024. During the performance, a phone thrown by a fan hit the singer and he responded by throwing the phone offstage. The video of the incident has since then gone viral:

The footage shows the singer singing his song Cowgirls when someone at the front of the crowd hurls their phone at his feet. The singer picks it up and tosses it aside to his right, before moving away from the spot, all the while continuing to sing.

This incident at the Denver concert is the latest in a long line of similar incidents of fans throwing objects at the singer, with previous instances including throwing drinks and women's underwear, among other things.

More on Morgan Wallen and the phone-throwing incident

The incident in Denver had the phone hit the singer's shoulders before falling to the floor. It is unclear if the hit injured the singer as he continued performing after throwing away the fan's phone. Morgan Wallen or his representatives have not responded to the incident as of the writing of this article.

A fan's thong hit Morgan Wallen while performing at the US Bank Stadium in Minneapolis on June 21, 2024. A more serious incident preceded this one in March 2023, where Morgan Wallen got hit with a drink while performing in Melbourne. In that incident, the singer had security throw out the fan from the concert.

The trend of concert attendees throwing objects has affected more than Morgan Wallen. Bebe Rexha suffered injuries when a phone hit her while she was performing at a concert in June 2023, leading to the arrest of the person who threw it.

In the same year and month, P!nk had to pause her BST Hyde Park concert after a fan threw their mother's ashes onto the stage, while Cardi B had water thrown at her at a concert in August 2023.

Meanwhile, Harry Styles had skittles thrown at his eyes in 2022 and then by an unidentified object while walking off the stage after performing at the Ernst Happel Stadium in Vienna, Austria. Other artists that have had similar incidents happen to them include Billie Eilish, Kelsea Ballerini, Ava Max, Drake, Latto, and more.
