Weekly Music Radar: Guide to the biggest releases of the week

Last week, fans witnessed major music releases like Metro Boomin and Future's second collaboration album We Still Don't Trust You, divided into two separate discs, which featured artists like The Weeknd, A$AP Rocky, and a surprise feature from J. Cole on the last track of Disc 1, titled Red Leather.

Our Weekly Music Radar (WMR) will highlight 10 of the most unique projects scheduled to be released this Friday, April 19, across genres like pop, R&B, and more.

Taylor Swift's 11th studio album, THE TORTURED POETS DEPARTMENT, drops alongside multiple pop and rock projects, including Bruce Springsteen's Best of Bruce Springsteen (Expanded Edition) collection album.


1) THE TORTURED POETS DEPARTMENT (Taylor Swift) - Pop album release

Taylor Swift is ready to unveil her 11th studio album, THE TORTURED POETS DEPARTMENT, this Friday. The project will be distributed independently via Swift to all DSPs (Digital Streaming Platforms).

T.T.P.D. was first announced back in February during a pre-order campaign for fans who wanted to purchase the album + bonus track exclusively available on her website. The project will be divided into four sides, with the following songs as part of the official tracklist:

2) Best of Bruce Springsteen (Bruce Springsteen) - Rock album release

Bruce Springsteen will be dropping his first compilation album in almost eight years with the release of Best of Bruce Springsteen, which will include several of the singer's hit singles and records from 1973 to 2020.

Best of Bruce Springsteen will be distributed to all DSPs via Columbia Records, with the following songs being included in its "Digital Deluxe" tracklist:

Mozzy (Timothy Cornell Patterson), hailing from Sacramento, California, is set to release his new album titled Children of the Slums on all streaming platforms via Mozzy Records, Inc.

4) Dark Matter (Pearl Jam) - Rock album release

The American rock band Pearl Jam is getting ready to drop their 12th studio album, titled DarkMatter, on all DSPs tomorrow via Monkeywrench Records and Republic Records.

The new album currently has three singles uploaded and will feature 11 songs on its official tracklist, which has been listed below:

The New York-based indie band Chanel Beads, credited to producer Shane Lavers, will be releasing its debut studio album titled Your Day Will Come on all DSPs via Jagjaguwar.

Logic has released the second single from his Ultra 85 album, following up on the release of his lead single titled Fear, which dropped back in February.

The latest addition to his ninth studio album is titled 44ever and will supposedly build on the sci-fi storyline the rapper has been crafting since the release of 2014's Under Pressure.
