A typical weekday dinner for Beyoncé often contains lots of vegetables and some lean proteins. However, the Cowboy Carter singer likes to cut herself a little slack on the weekends.

On Sundays or date nights, she likes to visit her favorite Italian places in New York, like Bar Pitti, Mamo, and Lucali, and spend time with her husband and children. She likes to have generous helpings of Italian delicacies on these nights.

The CUFF IT artist is reportedly very particular about her eating habits whenever she is on tour. According to an article published in The Daily Star on May 1, 2013, Beyoncé takes her routine and diet very seriously when on the road.

"She's extremely regimented and is taking everything extremely seriously, so she expects her list of demands to be adhered to," revealed a source to The Daily Star.

In the backstage area, Beyoncé consumes only almonds and oat cakes on a glass platter. Another interesting demand that the singer has is to have only green food items in her green room.

Additionally, Queen Bey demands special alkaline water served with titanium straws and ice balls to suck on. The source justified the seemingly peculiar demands of the 42-year-old, stating that "working so hard" and traveling take a "toll on her body."

"Working so hard and with the toll the travel takes on her body in addition to the intense shows, she feels that her requests aren't too much to ask for as she wants to ensure everything goes to plan," explained the anonymous source.
