Snoop Dogg debuted as a rapper in the 1990s and has established himself as an icon. In a career spanning over three decades, the rapper has an estimated net worth of $160 million, per The Richest. Snoop has released nineteen albums and has received sixteen Grammy Award nominations.

Snoop Dogg has diversified his financial portfolio with businesses, investments, and brand collaborations. Snoop has invested in various companies, including Broadus Foods, Casa Verde Capital, Death Row Records, Snoopie Doggie Dogs, and Indoggo.

In an interview with CNBC, Snoop revealed that his priority changed in the late 2000s. He revealed that he prioritized "music" in the initial years of his career and gradually shifted to "show business." He added,

"Once I got the business, now I'm the king of show business."

Apart from his music and movies, a unique business portfolio has contributed to his net worth. Here is a look at Snoop's businesses which helped him become one of the wealthiest rappers:

1. Broadus Foods

Snoop has appeared on various shows, including Martha & Snoop's Potluck Dinner Party. He has also released his cookbook, From Crook to Cook: Platinum Recipes from Tha Boss Dogg's Kitchen which appeared on Top Ten of Amazon's Bestsellers list.

Snoop launched Broadus Foods, a food distribution company in collaboration with rapper, Master P in 2022. Inspired by his mother's food, the company launched Mama Snoop that covers a wide range of breakfast products. Snoop Cereal which is also under the company is the only black-owned cereal brand with a national distribution.

While the profits drawn from Broadus have not been revealed, the brand has actively grown with the launch of new products. Most recently, the brand collaborated with Sweetkiwi to launch frozen Greek yogurt bars that feature Snoop Cereal flavors. The company is also known to contribute to charitable organizations.


2. Investments with Casa Verde Capital

Through his investment firm, Casa Verde Capital, Snoop has invested in the Cannabis industry. Snoop debuted his own Cannabis brand, Leafs By Snoop in 2015.

Snoop also launched and co-founded an online platform called Merry Jane in 2015, highlighting news and information about Cannabis. According to Techcrunch, the venture firm made a staggering $100 million in 2020 in its second round of investment.


3. Death Row Records

Death Row Records is a record label founded in 1991 that released multi-platinum albums by artists like Dr. Dre (The Chronic), Snoop Dogg (Doggystyle), and 2 Pac (All Eyez On Me). Years after its inception, Snoop acquired the label's rights in 2022. While the label has endured significant financial losses, it is estimated to be worth $10 million.


In the past few years, Dogg has launched several other businesses. In 2022, Snoop launched Snoopie Doggie Doggs, a dog clothing and accessories line inspired by a hip-hop aesthetic. He also launched Indoggo, inspired by his 90s song, Gin and Juice in September 2020.

Apart from his businesses, Snoop Dogg also believes in giving back to society. Particularly through the Snoop Youth Football League, Snoop has provided opportunities to thousands of children of inner circles to be mentored in professional football.
