Alien Ant Farm won’t be performing with CKY on their co-headlining tour anymore following a recent altercation. According to NME, CKY member Chad I Ginsburg reportedly punched Alien Ant Farm’s Dryden Mitchell in the face. Mitchell confirmed the incident in a statement shared on Alien Ant Farm's Instagram page on November 10, 2024.

Mitchell’s statement on social media alleged that Chad’s behavior with the crew and band members was like “trash.” He added:

“Before the last Europe shows I went to Chad and asked if he had any issues with anyone specifically and if he wanted to have a meeting with the whole crew and bands to discuss what’s going on, he up ended the table in the dressing room and threw his phone, and then cancelled their show.”

Mitchell added that he even approached Chad’s manager about his problems, which led to Chad reportedly punching him. He mentioned that he did not respond to Chad’s actions and apologized to everyone for Chad’s behavior. Dryden continued:

“We have zero hard feelings for Jess and Elvis in CKY and are gutted to see them go, but I will never knowingly put myself in volatile situations so this had to end. After suffering a C1 And C2 Fusion (Spinal Fracture) From a Bus Crash years ago, I hope that everything is ok in that area.”

Mitchell suggested that Chad visit a therapist, adding that the tour would continue without CKY, and anyone not willing to attend the shows would get a refund. Meanwhile, Chad shared an Instagram post on November 10, 2024, where he apologized and wrote:

“I had no choice and good reason for what happened. I will always defend myself. You know me much better than that!”

CKY’s current members also include Jess Margera and Ronnie Elvis James. The band has released five albums so far and is also known for their singles such as Familiar Realm, Days of Self Destruction, and Head for a Breakdown.

CKY’s lineup has changed multiple times over the years

Also known as Camp Kill Yourself, the group became popular after the release of their single 96 Quite Bitter Beings in 1999. The song was also included in the soundtrack of the band’s first album, Volume 1, which came out the same year.

Jess Margera and Chad I Ginsburg have been the oldest members of CKY, continuing to perform until today. Apart from them, Deron Miller was part of the original lineup, alongside Ryan Bruni.

According to The Note, the band reportedly had internal problems for years, leading to Miller's exit in 2011 due to disagreements. Vernon Zabrowski joined the group in 2000 but left in 2004. Rob “Murry” Valeno was a member from 2010 to 2011.

Matt Cole played for CKY in 2011, while Chris Weyh joined as a new member in 2019 but left in 2023. Ronnie Elvis James joined them the same year. Other former members include Matt Deis, who joined the band in 2005 and exited in 2010. However, he played for the group for the second time between 2015 and 2019.

As mentioned, CKY has five albums in their credits, starting with Volume 1. Their second album, Infiltrate•Destroy•Rebuild, grabbed the 99th spot on the US Billboard 200. This was followed by An Answer Can Be Found, Carver City, and The Phoenix.
