Harry Styles is undoubtedly one of the best pop singers of modern times. The Adore You singer took his first worldwide tour, Live On Tour, which commenced on September 19, 2017, and ended on July 14, 2018. The tour covered 89 shows in support of his self-titled album, Harry Styles, which was also his debut album. In support of his second and third studio albums, Fine Line and Harry's House, respectively, the singer commenced his second tour, Love On Tour, on September 4, 2021.

The tour lasted for a dramatic two years and concluded on July 22, 2023, in Reggio Emilia, Italy. During the final show, Harry appeared to be in tears and fell to his knees to address his fans. In an emotional address, Harry also thanked his friends for supporting him and showing up for his performances.

Harry Styles' mammoth Love On Tour and its emotional close

The As It Was hitmaker closed his two-year-long Love On Tour with an emotional goodbye to his audience. In his final set, Styles played an instrumental ballad for ten minutes before addressing his fans. Teary-eyed, Harry Styles said,

"You guys being here tonight, I know you wanted to make it special for me. You make it special for me every single night.”

He expressed gratitude towards his fans for supporting him for the past "13 years." Styles revealed that he has "never been happier" in his life and added,

‘My friends that are here tonight, thank you so much for having my back always, I love you all so much."

Continuing his emotional speech, he said,

"There are so many things that I get to feel incredibly lucky for in my life and the thing I feel the luckiest for is my friends."

Some friends that were present in the audience were talk show host, James Corden, collaborator Kid Harpoon, and Taylor Russell. Additionally, former talk show host and long-time friend James Corden cheered on the musician, per People. The Watermelon Sugar singer and Corden's friendship is no secret. Styles also has a tattoo, "Late Late" that he got on Corden's show, having lost the Tattoo Roulette.

James could be seen visibly excited while his friend performed, especially during the first few chords of One Direction's Best Song Ever. He also led Harry Styles' fans to a mosh pit as the singer performed the song.

Styles also took to his Instagram to share a video that included snippets from his tour. He captioned the post as,

"To the most inspiring people I know. Goodbye for now. Love On Tour forever."

As per People, Harry Styles wrote a long message to his fans the day after the tour. The singer called the tour "the greatest experience of his life." The singer wrapped his message up by conveying his love for his fans and thanked them for giving him the "best memories" that will "last a lifetime."


Harry Styles' Love On Tour was one of the five best-selling tours of all time. As per Billboard, more than 5 million tickets were sold for the 169 shows which wrapped up with $617.3 million in earnings. For his final show, Harry Styles gave an emotional speech and thanked his fans, friends, and crew for making the show successful.
