Isis Naija Gaston, professionally known as Ice Spice is a New York-based rapper. She first gained major recognition in late 2022 with her song Munch (Feelin' U). In an interview with Revolt magazine, she revealed that she earned $2 million after her song went viral on TikTok. The song has enmassed 1.3 million views on YouTube, and she has over a billion streams on Spotify for her songs.
Her fans call themselves 'Munchkins,' and she gave this name a thumbs-up with a post on X (formerly known as Twitter. She wrote,

Ice Spice's collaboration with Dunkin' Donuts
2023 proved to be a burgeoning year for the singer as she bagged four songs in the top 10 of Billboard Hot 100. These included Gangsta Boo (featuring Lil Tjay), Boy's a Liar Pt. 2 (with PinkPantheress), Karma (with Taylor Swift), and Barbie World (with Nicki Minaj and Aqua).
In September 2023, Dunkin Donuts announced a collaboration with the 24-year-old rapper and unveiled a commercial from Ben Affleck and Matt Damon's Artists Equity. It is also the second ad in which Affleck has starred for Dunkin' in 2023. The first ad debuted during the Super Bowl and also featured Jennifer Lopez.
In the 30-second commercial, Affleck is shown in conversation with Ice Spice, and they struggle to name the latest beverage. The singer reminds him that her fans are called Munchkins and that the drink should be a combination of her name and her fans' names.
The commercial ends with Affleck rapping and the Barbie World singer seemed horrified. The commercial then introduced the drink, 'Ice Spice Munchkin Drink.' Named after the singer's fans, the drink included frozen coffee with sugar and cream. Topped with whipped cream, caramel drizzle, and pumpkin munchkins. According to the Chief Marketing Officer at Dunkin', Jill McVicar Nelson, the drink is a blend of Pumpkin munchkins and Frozen Dunkin' coffee. She added,
"Pumpkin spice season has gotten a bit predictable lately, so we sought help from our friends Ben Affleck and Ice Spice to create a new pumpkin obsession that only Dunkin'can offer."
However, the drink reportedly fell flat and was only featured on the Dunkin' menu until October 31. However, it was a "dream" come true for Ice Spice, and the rapper told Wegotthiscovered,
"I've always been a Dunkin' girl!"
She added,
"Collaborating with Dunkin' and Ben Affleck on this spot was a dream. The drink has a fun twist, a little something in the name for my fans, too. I can't wait for everyone to try it."
In just a few years of her music career, Ice Spice has risen to fame and has also bagged Grammy nominations in 2024. Her collaboration with Nicki Minaj on Princess Diana marked the first time that a song by two women topped Billboard's Hot Rap Songs chart since its launch 34 years ago.
