Snoop Dogg and Eminem are notably recognized for their rap careers. While the former debuted as a rapper in Dr. Dre's single, Deep Cover in 1992, the latter debuted with his album, Infinite in 1996. The duo released B**** Please II in 1999, which also features vocals by Dr Dre.
They both appeared in the comedy film The Wash, written and produced by Dr. Pooh, with a cast that includes Dr. Dre, Dr. Pooh, George Wallace, and Bruce Bruce.
The movie revolves around two roommates and best friends, Sean (played by Dr.Dre) and Dee Loc (played by Snoop Dogg), who struggle to pay their rent and are at risk of eviction. Eminem plays a cameo role as Chris who is a former employee at a car wash.
Almost two decades later, Eminem and Snoop Dogg came together and released another single, From The D2 The LBC in 2022.

Snoop Dogg has acted in over 50 movies and has played quirky characters similar to his personality. The Wash is a comedy film that was released in 2001 and stars a rapper-studded cast. While Dr. Dre (Sean), Snoop Dogg (Dee Loc), George Wallace (Mr. Washington), and Dr Pooh (Slim) play leading roles, other supporting members of the cast include, Eminem, Marshall Matters III, Ludacris, Shaquille O'Neal, Xzibit, Ludacris, and Kurupt.
Sean and Dee Loc are bankrupt roomies who find themselves working at a car wash. While Sean plays the role of a mature person trying to meet ends, Dee Loc often creates trouble for the duo and is caught stealing on multiple occasions. After Sean loses his job, Dee Loc invites him to work at the carwash. In an uncanny turn of events, the car wash's manager Mr. Washington gets kidnapped by two angry thugs, including Slim.
Sean and Dee Loc find themselves juggling between phone calls from a disgruntled employee, Chris (played by Eminem), and arranging money to give to Mr. Washington's kidnappers. As noted by the Entertainer, although Eminem appears in three different scenes, he does not appear in the trailers and posters of the movie. Dennis Dennehy, spokesperson for Interscope Records explained that his cameo was supposed to be a "surprise."
Dr Dre. revealed another reason,
”That was a decision made by his (Eminem's) management because he’s making his own movie right now.”
The film received mixed reviews from critics but is the only one where Snoop Dogg and Eminem play co-actors.
While Snoop has acted in various movies, Eminem has primarily focused on creating music. Both Grammy Award nominees have also collaborated on multiple singles with Dr. Dre. The trio has continued to carry the legacy of hip-hop for three decades.
More recently, Dr. Dre and Snoop performed together in London to celebrate the launch of the Gin & Juice drink after 30 years. Additionally, the duo was joined by a surprise appearance by Eminem. The trio had last performed during the Super Bowl half-time show in 2022.
