On Friday, November 1, Nicole Scherzinger settled her three-year-long lawsuit with Robin Antin - the founder of Pussycat Dolls. According to documents obtained by Page Six, both parties "have reached a settlement in principle, subject to the execution of certain written agreements."

The lawsuit was settled in a Los Angeles court. Since the terms of the agreement haven't been disclosed at the moment, whether or not the New Ways to Dream singer will need to pay for settlement remains to be seen.

According to Celebrity Net Worth, Scherzinger's net worth is estimated to be $14 million, with her record sales as well as her salary as the returning judge of The X Factor contributing a big chunk to it.

Nicole Scherzinger regrouped with Pussycat Dolls in 2019

Nicole Scherzinger started her music career in 2001 and was briefly part of another music group - Eden's Crush - consisting of Maile Mijason, Ivette Sosa, Rosanna Tavarez, and Anna Maria Lombo.

After releasing their debut studio album, Popstars, in March 2001, the girl group disbanded. Two years later, Scherzinger was selected for the Pussycat Dolls audition alongside Melody Thornton and went ahead to join Carmit Bachar, Ashley Roberts, Kimberly Wyatt, and Jessica Sutta.

Nicole became the group's lead singer and also wrote songs for it, receiving credits for several tracks in the group's debut album, PCD (2005). Their second album - Doll Domination - dropped in 2008, with the group splitting two years later.

Nine years later, Pussycat Dolls regrouped to perform together in the 2009 X Factor finale, with a reunion tour announced soon after, scheduled for the following year.

In 2020, the COVID pandemic led to the tour being canceled, after which it was put on hold due to a dispute between Nicole Scherzinger and the group's founder - Robin Antin.

In September 2021, the choreographer-founder sued Scherzinger for allegedly refusing to perform in the first Pussycat Dolls tour in a decade, unless she was given complete control and 75% of the tour's profits.

Four months later, the New Ways to Dream singer's attorney responded to the lawsuit, calling it "meritless," alleging that Nicole had merely asked to "renegotiate" her contract after the delay of the concert due to the pandemic.

In the same month (January 2022), Nicole announced that the tour had been canceled altogether on her Instagram handle - much to the surprise of the other group members who had no knowledge of it.

In August 2022, a cross-complaint was filed against Robin Antin by the Heartbeat singer, accusing her of "mismanagement and misappropriation of funds." The complaint was denied by Antin.

Earlier this year, Nicole Scherzinger appeared to have moved on from the conflict. When Daily Mail asked her about the possibility of another Pussycat Dolls reunion in July, the singer said:

"I love my Dolls. I love the Pussycat Dolls. So, I always say never say never. I'm obviously in a different place in my life right now, but you never know what the future holds."

A jury trial for the Scherzinger-Antin case was scheduled for December 9, 2024, reported the media outlet. But in light of the settlement filing made last Friday, the court has now replaced it with a hearing on January 28, 2025 - to dismiss the case.

According to Page Six, Antin and Scherzinger had come up with a resolution to the lawsuit "months ago" but made it legal once all the details were formalized.

Nicole Scherzinger recently starred in the theatrical remake of Sunset Boulevard and recorded its live album, which was released on October 25, and became number 1 on the UK compilation chart.
