Nicki Minaj recently won the lawsuit filed against YouTuber Nosey Heaux, who once allegedly defamed the rapper by calling her a “cokehead.” While the ordeal began in September 2022, Minaj and Nosey Heaux have finally reached a settlement after the YouTuber allegedly admitted that her accusations about the rapper’s drug use were false.
As a part of the settlement, Nicki Minaj has asked Nosey Heaux to publicly acknowledge that “everything she said about Nicki Minaj using or abusing cocaine was false.” Not just this, she has also demanded a statement claiming that “she never had any evidence of Nicki Minaj using or abusing cocaine or any other drug.”
Two years back, the YouTuber, Green, uploaded a video alleging that Nicki was “shoving all this cocaine up her nose.” In her video, she also allegedly demeaned Nicki’s partner, Petty, claiming he has a criminal history, as she called him a convicted r*pist.
Furthermore, to reach the settlement, Marley Green AKA Nosey Heaux also agreed to never discuss Nicki’s son, and the baby’s father, Petty. Nicki also stated that if Green talks about her in any of her posts and videos in the future, she will be liable to pay $50,000 to Minaj.
Green submits court documents, admits claims against Nicki Minaj were false
As the lawsuit settled, the documents were presented in the court, which alleged that Green’s statements about “Maraj using and/or abusing cocaine were false.” Green’s documents presented in the court read:
“Heaux acknowledges and admits that a any and all statements which she has ever made about Maraj using and/or abusing cocaine were false. Heaux hereby apologizes… Green has agreed to never say anything about Minaj being “engaged in conduct which reflects poorly on Maraj’s integrity.”
The apology comes after Nicki alleged that Green used her YouTube channel to spread lies about her, tarnishing her image. However, the YouTuber claimed that her comments were being protected under “free speech.” She also claimed that she has been “unfairly targetted” as she was just “expressing her opinions.”
However, to this, Minaj’s lawyers responded by saying that Green’s comments were made with “malicious intentions,” and lacked “factual basis.”
As the lawsuit is now settled, social media users are also commenting on various posts, applauding the rapper for standing up for herself.
