Along with juggling acting, music, and handling a beauty brand, Selena Gomez is also a foodie. In 2017, the Love On singer revealed a lupus diagnosis, which significantly affected her physical health.

Through battling a disease and staying healthy, Gomez has made changes in her diet over the years. Her trainer and wellness expert, Amy Rosoff Davis, has modified her diet to keep her fit, healthy, and happy even with a hectic schedule.

Interestingly, Gomez's boyfriend, Benny Blanco, is a food enthusiast and home cook. According to People, Blanco revealed on the May 14 episode of The Howard Stern Show that he makes "the same" breakfast for Gomez every day.

Breakfast

In an interview with Allure magazine, Gomez revealed that she is not an early riser and starts her day mid-morning.

Amy Davis revealed in an interview with Cosmopolitan that Gomez loves Tex-Mex food. During the Revival Tour, Davis switched Selena's fast food to whole foods. On the May 14, 2024 episode of The Howard Stern Show, Benny Blanco revealed that he tries to make "her favorite breakfast every day." He added that it is generally the same breakfast with variations,

“Her favorite thing is she either has chorizo and eggs in like a tortilla, chorizo and eggs in a quesadilla, chorizo and eggs and rice and beans—she wants some version of that.”

To satisfy her sweet tooth, the Only Murders In The Building star sometimes eats granola and Greek yogurt to finish her breakfast.


Lunch

Selena Gomez's on-tour meals were planned by her fitness trainer, Amy Davis. In an interview with Byrdie, Davis said she prepared many "rice bowls with veggies and protein." She explained,

"It helped give her energy and stamina, which she needed to get through her shows."

According to Women's Health, Gomez answered questions for a video on Food Network's Instagram. She spoke about her food preferences and revealed that her guilty pleasure is "ramen". Selena talked about her "favorite" and "easy" lunch, saying:

“My go-to lunch order is a chicken salad sandwich with grapes”

The Rare Beauty founder also keeps herself hydrated. In a 2016 interview with Vogue, she highlighted the importance of hydration during her Revival tour.

“I always have water, tons of water. It’s even in my bathroom because I used to be so bad at drinking water, and I want to stay hydrated.”

Dinner

Selena Gomez often posts about her "date nights" with her sister and friends on Instagram. She likes to whip up bowl meals, such as Asian-marinated cucumber, salmon, chicken, or avocado, at home. She also enjoys sushi for her dinner. She ends the day by listening to music, watching TV, or meditating before bed.


How Selena's cooking struggles inspired a cooking show?

The quarantine prompted Selena Gomez to start her own cooking show, Selena + Chef. The show was relatable and an instant hit with the audience. It completed four seasons and helped Gomez learn tips and tricks in the kitchen from popular chefs. More recently, Gomez filmed Selena + Restaurant, which takes her to top restaurants in Los Angeles. It debuted on Food Network on May 2, 2024.

Even with a hectic schedule, Selena Gomez tries her best to eat healthy. The actress and singer has been vocal about body positivity, especially after she experienced weight fluctuations due to lupus. Gomez now focuses on keeping her body healthy and hearty.
