Steve Stoute responded to Dame Dash during a Saturday, September 21, appearance on The Pivot podcast. UnitedMasters CEO Steve Stoute claimed that he and Roc-A-Fella Records co-founder Dame Dash got into not one but two confrontations.
During the podcast, Stoute responded to Dash's previous comments that he smacked Stoute over an $18,000 debt. Stoute admitted that the duo allegedly got into an altercation when they were both happened to be in an office in the same building. Dash had ten guys with him in the room and Stoute was by himself.
According to the UnitedMasters CEO, two years later, he saw Dash alongside two girls in a street, and the latter pushed one of the girls infront of the former and took off. He narrated:
"I went to step to him. This man pushed the girl in front of me and took off running. The girl he pushed in front of me falls and then sues me. The insurance company pays out her."
According to Steve Stoute, the insurance company did not even ask him to hire lawyers and simply asked him to approve the lawsuit, which was around $30,000.
5 years later, while at Kanye West's party, Stoute revealed that he was approached by the very same girl, who he did not recognize. She introduced herself as the girl who sued him, thanked him, and said that she used the money to settle out in L.A. Stoute exclaimed:
"That's his woman now! So we always had a thing with each other- What do you want me to say, man, he's in bad shape. He's been in bad shape for a long time. He's not tough."
In response to Stoute's comments, Dash took to Instagram, called the UnitedMasters CEO "crazy", and asked him to get therapy. 50 Cent on the other hand took to Instagram and re-posted the part of the interview where Stoute made fun of Dash's grills falling out during an Instagram Live and called it "embarrassing".
Dame Dash takes shade from both Steve Stoute and 50 Cent
Dame Dash took to Instagram on Sunday, September 22, to respond to Steve Stoute's aforementioned comments on him running away from confrontation with the help of his girl. Dash re-posted a clip from Stoute's The Pivot podcast appearance on the platform and captioned his post:
"😂😂😂😂😂 Steve Stout I smacked the s**t out of you and that was it get over it…and me running from you in front of my girl is the funnest s**t I ever heard 10 dudes in the room is crazy 😂😂😂😂😂 we are both over 50 now go get some therapy and move on."
Apart from the comments about the alleged second confrontation, Steve Stoute also mentioned the moment Dame Dash's diamond grills fell out during an Instagram Live session earlier this month. It occurred when Dash was responding to 50 Cent's comments about him and wanted to see Fif put his money where his mouth was. Stoute noted:
"You're lying through your teeth and your teeth are falling out. You're trying to create and muster animosity with anybody, then create some momentum around some bulls**t,"
During a Sunday, September 1 appearance on Million Dollaz Worth of Game, 50 Cent criticized Dame Dash for downplaying his first-ever record contract by allegedly saying $1 million was not a lot of money and pointed out that Dash had "no money" now. When Dash's grills fell out, Fif had previously trolled him on social media.
After Steve Stoute's comments about Dash lying through his teeth came out, 50 Cent re-posted a clip of Stoute's appearance on The Pivot on Instagram and captioned his post:
"😆😆😆 it’s embarrassing I mean its da Rock 🫶what is you doing playing wit 50. 🤨"
According to a report by Complex, Stoute's confrontation comments were a response to Dash's previous comments about him smacking Stoute over a debt of $18,000. During an appearance on Shannon Sharpe's Club Shay Shay podcast, back in March of this year, Stoute made a few comments on Dash's managing style during his time at Roc-A-Fella Records. He said:
"While he (Dame Dash) was building businesses, he would go off all around the world with cameras and girls and all kinds of crazy s**t, and then come back flipping on everybody as if [they were wrong]."
Steve Stoute alleged that Dame's ego caused the rift between him and Jay-Z, who allegedly saw Dame's ceiling and decided that he wanted to do more. In response to Stoute's comments, Dame took to Instagram the very same month and captioned a re-post of a clip from Stoute's interview:
"This is the reason I had to smack the s**t out of Steve Stout a couple years ago…because he’s always speaking on other men’s business good thing I’ve evolved #staytuned"
Dame Dash's stake in Roc-A-Fella Records was all set to be sold off via a court-mandated auction in August. However, the auction was delayed due to the Roc-A-Fella co-founder owing $8.7 million in back taxes and $193,000 in unpaid child support.
