50 Cent, known for his famed online trolling has struck again, with this time his victim being Roc-A-Fella Records co-founder Dame Dash. Fif criticized Dash during a Sunday, September 1 appearance on Million Dollaz Worth of Game, by claiming that Dash tried to downplay his first record contract and pointed out that the Roc-A-Fella co-founder had "no money" currently.
During a recent Instagram live session, Dash clapped back at 50 and wanted to see the rapper put his money where his mouth is, but at the same time acknowledged that he was a "worthy opponent". During the live session, Dash's diamond grills fell from his mouth, with him having to turn away the camera just to fix it.
50 reposted the clip on X on Friday, September 6, with a few other humorous videos of Dash sprinkled in, while at the same time promoting his new book, The Accomplice. Fif captioned the video:
"😳wow ya man 🦷 teeth fell out his mouth LOL 😆 what a week Gillie Da Kid you and Wallo267 owe me man. LMAO😆🤣,"
50 Cent criticized Dame Dash for downplaying the value of "a million dollars"
During an Instagram live session, a clip of which Dame Dash posted on the platform on Thursday, September 5, Dash was asked whether he would work together with 50 Cent on a show or a movie project. Dash responded that if 50 wanted to work with him, they could work together. and stated that he was never mad at "generals linking up". Dash said:
"I wouldn't've even acknowledged him if I didn't think he was worthy [being] an opponent. A lot of n***as talk shit, I don't even acknowledge it but 50 Cent, oh yeah let's go."
After stating that he wanted to see 50 put his money where his mouth is by starting his own television network and clothing line and directing a movie, Dash's diamond grills popped out of his mouth. Dash turned the phone away and even gave it to someone else to hold and entertain his fans while he fixed his teeth. He captioned the Instagram post of the incident:
"😂 my diamond grills popped out because that’s what happens when you’re broke,"
As mentioned above, 50 Cent re-posted the clip on X (formerly known as Twitter) with clips of him reading his brand new book The Accomplice interlaced in between. He also put out another tweet of a humorous video of one social media user explaining that as soon as Dame Dash said "some bulls**t", his teeth fell out. Dash captioned the tweet:
"🤷🏾♂️I don’t know why things are the way they are but lately every time somebody try some dumb s**t ! 🥱😆LOL,"
Interestingly, Dame Dash also reposted 50's tweet on Instagram and wrote:
"😂 appreciate you bro… but the battles still on,"
Dash's response came at the heels of 50 Cent's comments about him during a September 1 appearance on the Million Dollaz Worth of Game podcast co-hosted by Gillie Da Kid and Wallo267. During the episode, 50 Cent threw shade at Dash for downplaying his first-ever record contract.
The In Da Club rapper revealed that Dame Dash was the only person who pointed out to him that "a million dollars" was "no money" and pointed out that Dash had "no money" now. 50 Cent even ended up doing an impression of Dash by stating:
"After you get you a watch, chain, look out for the homies and then do this, then it’s nothing,"
He added:
"I’m from 134th Street. A million dollars is a lot of money. I think I hit the lotto. How are you gonna say that it’s no money?"
Dame Dash on the other hand was all set to sell off his stake in Roc-A-Fella via a court-mandated auction in August, however, the auction is currently delayed due to him owing $8.7 million in back taxes and $193,000 in unpaid child support. Dash explained on Instagram last month that he got "so broke" because he invested in his dreams.
