Ariana Grande has been in the music industry for over a decade now, and throughout the years, the singer-songwriter has been with the first record label she had initially signed with. Republic Records had signed Grande back in 2011, when the 30-year-old was still in her teen years, working as Cat Valentine on Nickelodeon's Victorious.

In December 2023, Grande, who was on a musical hiatus while focusing on filming her musical adaption movie, Wicked, teased fans by sharing pictures from Republic Records' studio. It was visible on the screen that the Side to Side singer was editing audio files, which hinted at her making new music.

Page Six reported that Grande got unexpected free time due to the SAG-AFTRA strike on the sets of Wicked, and popped into Republic Records New York studio to work on her seventh album.

The 7 Rings singer dropped her seventh album, Eternal Sunshine on March 8, 2024, which peaked atop the Billboard 200 album chart soon afterward.

The company, which was founded in 1995 by the Lipman brothers, Avery and Monte Lipman, went on to record six other albums of Grande followed by the first one.

In 2018, when Ariana Grande won Billboard's Woman of the Year, the singer-songwriter took the opportunity to thank her record label for their support on social media, alongside a picture of herself with Monte Lipman from the red carpet of the event.

The caption of the since-deleted Instagram post read:

The record label also replied to the post, saying they were "honored" to be her family and "couldn't be more proud" of her growth and dedication.
