Harry Styles Golden takes you through Italy's beautiful tourist locations. The video opens with him running across the hills. While it's unclear where the first location is, it looks similar to the Sentiero dei Limoni path.

According to the Tab, Harry Styles is also spotted walking on the Valle dei Mulini trek. The former One Direction member can be seen running through tunnels that lead to the village of Pontone as well.

Nextm Styles is seen cruising in a vintage Alfa Romeo. The music video has a vintage theme.

Harry Styles drives down the Amalfi drive through the Marori village. In an interview with Zane Lowe in November 2019, Harry talked about choosing the locations for the music video:

“I used to drive to the studio, and it’s the perfect PCH (Pacific Coast Highway) song. It’s like driving down the coast is what the song is for. It feels so Malibu to me."

Harry Styles also dipped in the Tyrrhenian Sea and soaked in the Golden moment. Before taking a dip, the singer and actor sported a yellow fisherman's hat and was spotted on the rock formations around the Amalfi coast.

Styles also released a behind-the-scenes video on YouTube that takes the audience through the filming locations. Apart from his experience while filming the music video, Harry Styles also spoke about his writing experience of Golden, telling Zane Lowe:

“My favorite memory from making this album [Fine Line] was the day we wrote ‘Golden.'"

The Adore You singer added:

“We were all sat in the kitchen at (Rick Rubin’s recording studio) Shangri-La, having dinner, and we played it on one guitar while everyone sang around the table. It just felt really good.”

Although Golden was released as the fifth single, it appears as the first track on the album. He said:

“Immediately, as soon as we’d done it, it was like, ‘Oh, this is track one.’"

In an interview with AP in October 2020, Harry Styles said that the song "cheered" him up. He added:

“I’d like to think it will maybe cheer a couple of people up.”

This is not the first time Harry has opted to film a music video in Italy. While most parts of the music video for Sign Of The Times was shot in Scotland, it also features aerial views of Italian landscapes.

Harry Styles never disappoints fans when it comes to his music and filming locations. Music videos often become a part of his story-telling process. Golden takes Harry's fans through Italy and is the perfect song for a long summer drive.

Golden has been viewed over 245 million times on YouTube. The song also won The Global Hit Of The Year 2021 at the MTV Millenial Awards.
