While Selena has described her current property as a "cave", she has made several massive real estate purchases throughout her career. The Only Murders In The Building star entered the real estate market when she was just 19 years old and over time has sold and bought several properties.

1.Tarzana, California

The Wizards Of Waverly Place alum bought her first property in 2011. According to Architectural Digest, she bought a $2.2 million mansion in Tarzana, California. According to the LA Times, Gomez's “traditional style home” was 6,630 square feet. It had two stories, a guesthouse, and an “artfully shaped” swimming pool. Gomez also remodeled the house, until she sold it to singer Iggy Azalea.

2. Calabasas, California

In 2014, Gomez leveled up to a Mediterranean-styled mansion worth a whopping $3.69 million. The five-bedroom property featured a wine cellar, a home cinema, and a gym. The singer stayed there only for a year and sold it to rapper, French Montana.

The Texas native is proud of her Mexican heritage and purchased an enormous 10,016-square-foot mansion in her home state. The actress moved into the property when she was reportedly diagnosed with Lupus. Selena Gomez was born in Grand Prairie and has stayed close to it. In an Instagram post in 2018, she expressed her love for the old house she grew up in.

4. California

According to Architectural Digest, Selena Gomez moved into a single-story bungalow in California's Studio City. Trulia Magazine reported that the 3,188-square-foot house was built in 1951 and came with four beds and four bathrooms.

The singer sold it in 2020 and moved into an Encino mansion. The 11,483-square-foot mansion was custom-built in 1989 by Tom Petty and his first wife Jane Benyo. It has six bedrooms and 10 bathrooms and several special features such as an in-house recording studio, a gym, a massage room, a pool, and others.

In a 2020 Zane Lowe and Apple Music Rare interview, Gomez revealed that she was naturally drawn towards the property. She reported,

"It’s that spirit, and knowing Stevie Nicks was here. There’s so much history, so when I’m in that zone, I feel like it’s very special.”
