Cardi B recently criticized music producer ATL Jacob on social media after he seemingly dissed her on X (formerly Twitter) on September 27, 2024. The latter's post included a screenshot of some lyrics from Future's single Perkys Calling:

"These H*es always gettin' exposed, ain't got home trainin.'"

Jacob has gained recognition for his work with record labels like Freebandz over the years. He has also been a recipient of various accolades, including the title of Producer of the Year given by XXL magazine last year. He is the producer of Nicki Minaj's song, Last Time I Saw You.

Meanwhile, Cardi B replied to the tweet in a series of posts that have been deleted now. The rapper began by reposting ATL Jacob's tweet and wrote:

"P*ssy a*s b*tch stop playing wit me or ima violate you!!! You a whole man and stay shading me when I don't even know you.. I got a Nikka for you to square up with tho if you really got an issue!! Send your best b*tch."

ATL replied to the tweet by saying that he did not shade her and added:

"I quoted a random tweet I seen on my timeline ion kno nun bout yo business.. facts."

Cardi then retweeted her first post and stated:

"I was faithful to this man for 7 years! You never seen my name attached to no other man and before that relationship I was engaged. Always been a clean slate b*tch so don't even try to throw HO on BELCALIS… Y'all wish."

Jacob has not responded to Cardi for now and further updates are currently awaited.

ATL Jacob has worked with several record labels throughout his career

Also known as Jacob Denzal Canady, his longest association as a record producer was with Freebandz. He even shared a close relationship with Future, including the latter's seventh album, The Wizrd, which grabbed the first spot on the US Billboard 200 in 2019.

Future and ATL Jacob met each other through Casino, the CEO of Freebandz, in 2017. In an interview with Complex the same year, Jacob recalled the meeting by saying:

"I ain't know Future was there, I ain't even know it was Future's session. I was sitting on the couch, and I was asleep 'cause they was recording some of my beats. Future, he was trying to dap me up, but I was asleep and I had my hoodie on. He tried to dap me up, and then I just woke up with my hand out, trying to dap him up."

ATL Jacob also had a career as a rapper in the past, where he was a member of a group called Pocketband. He has created beats for artists working for Freebandz, collaborating with musical stars like Young Thug and 2 Chainz.

He recalled being part of his school's marching band as his first foray into the world of music:

"I was in middle school, 'cause in middle school I was playing for the high school. And then I stopped. There's a video of me on YouTube when I was little, when I was in sixth grade, playing the saxophone."
