Rapper Cleotrapa recently unfollowed Ice Spice on Instagram. This comes after the former accompanied the latter on some of her Y2K! World Tour concerts. The singer, who initially went viral for her grammar lessons videos, claimed that the Deli crooner “played” her.

X user @YSLONIKA took to the social networking site to confirm that Cleotrapa had unfollowed Ice Spice on Instagram after the latter's tour came to an end. Cleotrapa replied to this, saying she did not get paid for performing at any of Ice Spice’s concerts. She then said that she was “played, betrayed & unpaid.”

In another tweet, Cleotrapa West said:

“I never had a problem with not being paid btw I knew. I just want everyone to stop thinking I was paid cause I wasn’t.”

For those uninitiated, West is a Nigeria-born rapper who can be recognized from her comical schooling videos, one of which includes her viral “angel vs. angle” clips.

She has since dropped her own music, including her hit single, I Don’t Trap. She revealed on TikTok that she had been a friend of Ice Spice “before she blew up.” However, it appears as if matters have gotten sour between the two.

More about Cleotrapa as singer unfollows Ice Spice on Instagram

Cleotrapa West, who was born Cleo West, was raised in Park Hill, Staten Island, by her mother. She began creating music in 2018 and debuted with her diss track, Letters to My Haters, in 2018.

West enrolled at Medgar Evers College in Brooklyn before becoming an influencer online. People thoroughly enjoyed her comedic content, which also led to her landing collaborations with music icons like Summer Walker. West appeared on Walker’s Ex For A Reason music video.

One of West’s most popular videos includes a PSA best known as “Save me a damn babyfather,” where she appears visibly annoyed. She explained in the video that every attractive man she came across was already a father. Her monologue went on to garner immense traction online.

On September 3, 2024, Cleotrapa took to TikTok to call out Ice Spice for not making her feel included on tour. In a three-part TikTok video series, West explained what happened between her and the singer, whose real name is Isis Naija Gaston. West said in a TikTok video:

“But you [Ice Spice] actually had one time to show me that you are jealous, intimidated, untrustworthy, fake, disloyal, ingenuine, manipulative, and calculated.”

West then explained that she was invited to join Ice Spice on tour to perform. Midway through her storytime, West revealed that Ice Spice had once invited her to a basketball game just before the release of a new song. West said:

“Every time she is inviting me out… because we never chilled… this girl kind of uses me for her rollouts.”

West went on to reveal that prior to her performance on Ice Spice’s tour, fans were unaware of her accompanying the singer for concerts. She stated that the information about her performance or any sort of promotions for her was not made available online either. West stated:

“She [Ice Spice] didn’t even try to mesh me in with her fanbase… very calculated, you know? It was just giving you, 'Let Cleo eat, but we’re going to give her crumbs. Like, we’re going to shine light on her, but let’s get me.’”

In her second video, West explained that Ice Spice made her carry her own bags on tour despite having help. She also stated that she was not given her own room or a rider backstage.

In her last video, West said:

“I feel on this moment like I’m on tour with somebody that don’t even f**k with me for real. That’s not even really my friend.”

Ice Spice had not addressed Cleotrapa's comments at the time of writing this article.
