Well-known rapper Dougie B, whose real name is Arion Howard, was recently accused of being involved in an incident where he reportedly attacked a 33-year-old man and his five-year-old son at an apartment in Belmont. The incident happened on August 27, 2024, and Howard is currently facing around 25 years in prison for his alleged involvement in two more robbery cases.

The Bronx District Attorney has imposed charges of robbery and grand larceny on the rapper, as per the New York Post. The 22-year-old has been active in the world of rapping since 2020. He has accumulated a huge fanbase with his singles such as Forever On That and Kill Em With Kindness.

Dougie B was reportedly accompanied by four other individuals when they ambushed the father-son duo and one of them threatened the man with a gun. The group stole almost $2,500 by using the man's phone before Dougie B stopped the pair from leaving the apartment.

According to the New York Post, two complaints were filed at the Bronx Criminal Court. The legal documents claimed that the artist was reportedly associated with another robbery incident with four others.

Dougie B allegedly stopped an individual by holding his wristband and two suspects used a knife this time to threaten the person, following which they stole his phones alongside $500 from a digital wallet. The rapper and the other suspects were arrested a few days later.

The third incident happened with a fan, who claimed in an Instagram post in June this year that Dougie reportedly stole cash worth $1,000 from him after the duo took a picture at East 187th Street. However, Dougie later said in an Instagram Live session that he did not rob the fan, who was 16 years old. He further stated:

"The demons walk past, seen it. My demons did not do what they did. I did not rob you gang."

Dougie B has released multiple singles in the last few years

The Bronx native became a famous face after he released a string of singles since 2020. He reportedly became interested in music at a very young age and grew up listening to the projects released by Nas and Jay-Z.

According to Legit, Dougie B was a part of Music Development For The Youth, a program established by his uncle. The program helped him learn a lot about music and it additionally assisted others to know the functioning process of recording studios and making music.
