Bad Bunny and Drake share an iconic friendship and often face each other for the best spot as the top-streamed artists on Spotify. July has been no different for the rappers as Drizzy surpassed Bunny with over four billion streams on the music platform.

With over 77 billion Spotify streams, Drake ranked second on the list indicating he is the second most popular artist this year after Taylor Swift. His friend, Bad Bunny, wasn't too far off either and secured the third rank with over 72 billion streams to his name.

Fans streamed over 330 songs by the God's Plan singer this July. Some of his top streamed songs included - One Dance, Rich Baby Daddy, Push Ups, Family Matters, Jimmy Cooks, Passionfruit, IDGAF, and more.

On the other hand, Bad Bunny had over 191 of his songs streamed by fans this month. The top streamed songs of Bunny were - ADIVINO, PERRO NE*RO, Me Porto Bonito, LA CANCIÓN, Ojitos Lindos, DÁKITI, Efecto, and more.


Drake and Bad Bunny's ranking changes, and the top 10 most-streamed artists of all-time on Spotify in 2024

The rankings of the top 10 most-streamed artists of all time change almost every month. Bad Bunny and Drake are no strangers to the changes and have often been pushed back and forth on the list.

Bunny, who started 2024 as the top streamed artist, was pushed to the third position by June 2024, while Drake reigned at the top spot. Taylor, with her 84.3 billion streams, rested at the second spot last month.

Come July, the rankings changed with Swift grabbing the first spot with over 85 billion streams. While Drake was pushed to second position, Bunny secured his spot as the third most famous singer this summer.

The list of the top 10 most-streamed artists of all time on Spotify this year also includes The Weeknd, Ed Sheeran, Ariana Grande, and Eminem.

(1) Taylor Swift

Taylor Swift continues to reign at the top of the list with over 85 billion (85,372,347,936) streams to her name. The top streamed songs from Swift were - Fortnight, Cruel Summer, Down Bad, My Boy Only Breaks His Favorite Toys, But Daddy I Love Him, Lover, and more.

(2) Drake

Drizzy secured the second position on the list with over 77 billion (77,251,524,287) streams to his name.

(3) Bad Bunny

Pushed down to the third position by Drake, Bad Bunny currently has over 72 billion (72,703,724,150) streams on Spotify.

(4) The Weeknd

Speculated to change his moniker soon, The Weeknd is ranked fourth on the list with over 58 billion (58,827,345,006) Spotify streams to his name. His most streamed songs are - One Of The Girls, Starboy, Blinding Lights, Die For You, Stargirl Interlude, Save Your Tears, and more.

(5) Ed Sheeran

The British singer keeps steady at the fifth spot and has over 48 billion (48,746,155,717) streams to his name. Sheeran's songs that fans streamed the most were - Perfect, Shape of You, Photograph, Shivers, Bad Habits, Castle on the Hill, Galway Girl, and more.

(6) Ariana Grande

Ariana Grande secured the sixth spot on the list with over 45 billion (45,772,667,205) streams to her name. Ariana's hits that fans loved streaming were - the boy is mine, One Last Time, 7 rings, Dangerous Woman, Into You, and more.

(7) Eminem

Eminem surpassed Justin Bieber to secure the seventh spot on the list of the top 10 most-streamed artists of all time on Spotify. The rapper was streamed over 43 billion (43,406,507,652) times on Spotify. The most streamed tracks from Eminem were - Houdini, Without Me, Mockingbird, The Real Slim Shady, Lose Yourself, Till I Collapse, Godzilla, and more.

(8) Justin Bieber

Just Biber dropped to the eighth position with over 43 billion (43,322,529,648) streams. The songs that most contributed to his ranking were - STAY, Ghost, Love Yourself, Beauty And A Beat, Sorry, Baby, Eenie Meenie, and more.

(9) Post Malone

Post Malone stood strong at the ninth position on the list with over 40 billion (40,048,608,229) Spotify streams. Malone's songs that fans enjoyed streaming to were - I Had Some Help, Fortnight, Sunflower, Circles, Dial Drunk, Chemical, Wow, Congratulations, and more.

(10) Kanye West

The tenth contender on the list, Kanye West, had over 39 billion (39,809,924,110) streams to his name. Some of his most streamed songs included - Stronger, Heartless, Gold Digger, Father Stretch My Hands, POWER, American Boy, I Love It, and more.

As of this writing, Drake surpasses Bad Bunny with over 4.54 billion Spotify streams. The results, however, may not remain the same next month as the stream counts change daily.
